Die Erfindung betrifft einen Pinsel, insbesondere einen Malerpinsel zum Auftragen von Farbe, nach der Gattung des Hauptanspruchs. Unter Pinsel im Sinne der Erfindung sollen auch Bürsten und dgl. verstanden werden, also einfache Handwerkzeuge mit Borsten oder dgl. Einrichtung zum Auftragen von Farbe und mit einem Griff zum Halten des Pinsels. Anstelle des Griffs kann der Pinsel auch eine Stange oder eine Befestigungseinrichtung für eine Stange zum körperfernen Auftragen von Farbe aufweisen. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Der erfindungsgemäße Pinsel mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 weist eine Auffangeinrichtung auf, die Farbe, die am Pinsel herunterläuft, auffängt, wenn sich die Borsten des Pinsels oberhalb des Griffs befinden. Beim Überkopfstreichen am Pinsel herunterlaufende Farbe läuft also nicht auf dem Griff und damit nicht auf eine den Pinsel am Griff haltende Hand. Um auch Schutz vor vom Pinsel herabtropfender Farbe zu bieten, wenn sich die Borsten über dem Griff befinden, ist gemäß Anspruch 2 vorgesehen, daß die Auffangeinrichtung seitlich über die Borsten übersteht. Die Erfindung hat zunächst den Vorteil, daß sie Schutz vor herunterlaufender oder herabtropfender Farbe bietet. Weiterer Vorteil der Erfindung ist, daß sie Farbe spart, da in der Auffangeinrichtung aufgefangene Farbe bei der nächsten Farbaufnahme mit dem Pinsel von der Auffangeinrichtung in einen Farbeimer oder dgl. zurücktropfen kann. Weiterer Vorteil ist eine Zeitersparnis beim Auftragen von Farbe über Kopf, da mehr Farbe mit den Borsten aufgenommen werden kann, weil keine Gefahr des Herablaufens von Farbe auf dem Griff und keine Tropfgefahr besteht.This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.
