Der vorliegende Verschlufs für Eisbeutel u. dgl. ist in Fig. 1 im Längsschnitt, in Fig. 2 im Grundrifs dargestellt.The present closure for ice packs and the like is shown in longitudinal section in FIG. 1 and in FIG. 2 shown in the ground plan.
Er besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei Theilen, der Hülse α und dem Deckel b. Erstere bildet die Mündung des Eisbeutels und ist vollständig luft- und wasserdicht mit demselben verbunden; sie trägt an ihrem oberen inneren Rande in dichter Verbindung mit demselben einen Gummi- oder dergleichen Ring c, welcher bei offenem Verschlufs die aus Fig. 1 punktirt ersichtliche Stellung einnimmt. Der Deckel b, welcher mit Handgriff d versehen und in die Hülse α entsprechend eingepafst ist, erhält an seinem unteren Rand einen Ringansatz dl. Das Einsetzen des Deckels bezw. das Schliefsen des Eisbeutels erfolgt in der Weise, dafs der Deckel b unter Ueberwindung des Widerstandes von Ring c durch den Ringansatz d einfach in die Hülse α eingeführt wird; dadurch wird der innere Rand des Dichtungsringes c nach unten in die Hülse gebogen und in derselben erhalten. Hierbei wird nicht nur (infolge des Druckes des elastischen Ringes) der Deckel unbedingt festgehalten, sondern es wird auch eine durchaus sichere Dichtung zwischen diesem und der Hülse erzielt, so dafs aus dem Eisbeutel u. s. w. keine Flüssigkeit austreten kann.
