Display stands

The innovation concerns a display stand for self-service shops or similar, which consists of a vertical perforated wall and a plurality of product carriers of different widths in the form of baskets, shelves, finger guides for skin cards or similar that can be hooked onto the perforated wall, whereby each product carrier has at least two horizontally adjacent hanging hooks on its back, the hooking distance of which is a multiple of the hole spacing on the perforated wall.

In the known display stands of this type, the product carriers intended for the various goods have widths that are selected completely independently of one another, whereby the widths are usually determined according to the dimensions or the number of goods that the product carriers can hold. However, this proves to be disadvantageous if it becomes necessary to subsequently adjust product carriers.

To solve this problem, the new design provides that the product carriers are divided into several groups of the same width, in which the hooking distance D is equal to the sum of an integer multiple η of the hooking width b of the product carrier group with the smallest width and an integer multiple (n-1) of the distance y between the adjacent hooks of two product carriers suspended next to each other on the perforated wall, minus one. With such a width dimension of the product carriers, the perforated wall area occupied by a certain number of smaller product carriers can now optionally be occupied by a product carrier of a correspondingly larger width, while fully utilizing the area, and an overall more regular visual appearance is also achieved. %

When measuring the width of the goods carrier, it is preferable to assume a hanging distance y between two adjacent goods carriers that is equal to the hole spacing ζ in the perforated wall. In other words, this means that the overhang by which the goods carriers protrude laterally beyond their hooks is equal to or less than half the hole spacing ζ in the perforated wall.

In general, the hooking distance of the product carriers is to be determined according to the formula

where &eegr; = 1 for the smallest product carriers and &eegr; = 2, 3, 4 ... for the groups of the next largest product carriers.

Furthermore, according to the innovation, it can be provided that labelling panels or strips are assigned to the product carriers, which are to be attached to the perforated wall or to the product carriers themselves, the widths of which are each equal to the widths of the product carriers of individual groups.

The stand also comprises a plurality of product carriers 3, 4, 5, 6, each of which is provided with two hooks 7, 8 at its end, with which the product carriers are hooked into the holes 2 in the perforated wall. The product carrier 3 has one and the product carrier 4 has three hanging fingers 9 for skin cards or the like. The product carrier 5 is designed as a shelf and the product carrier 6 as a stair shelf.

The product carriers 3, 4, 5, 6, which can also include other embodiments such as baskets or the like, are divided into groups of the same width, with the product baskets 3 and 4 belonging to the group with the smallest width. In this first group, the hooking distance D is equal to the distance between the two hooks 7, 8. These product carriers 3, 4 are suspended next to each other on the perforated wall at a lateral distance y, where the distance y is chosen here to be equal to the hole spacing ζ.

For the product carrier 5, which belongs to the next largest group of product carriers, the distance D between the zinc hanging hooks 7, 8 is equal to twice the hooking width d of the smaller product carriers 3, 4, plus the distance y. As a result, the product carrier 5 can be hung on the perforated wall 1 in exchange for two smaller product carriers 3, without this resulting in an unused perforated wall area.

Figures 2, 3 and 4 show label strips 10, 11, 12 assigned to the product carriers. The strip 10 is matched in width to the smallest product carriers 3, 4 and can be clipped onto the rear wires 13 carrying the hooks 7 and 8, for example.
