Die Erfindung bezieht sich gattungsgemäß auf eine Profilleiste, insbesondere auf eine Kantenleiste für die Möbelindustrie, aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, bestehend aus einem Leistenkern und einer auf zumindest eine Leistenfläche aufgebrachten Auflage, die eine Hclzrr;ascrung aufweist. Derartige Profilleiste^ werden im allgemeinen im Wege des Extrudierens hergestellt. Es versteht sich, daß die Auslegung im einzelnen so getroffen ist, daß die Maserung 5 und die Marmorierung 6 die gleichen Grundfarben aufweisen und daß im Anschnitt folglich eine Maserung 9 erscheint, die der Maserung 5 der Auflage so ähnlich wie möglich ist. Umhüllung 7 und Kern 2 sind stoffschlüssig verbunden. Das kann, wie bereits erläutert, auf verschiedene Weise geschehen, - wobei alle Ausführungsformen sich unschwer mit den Hilfsmitteln der modernen Extrudertechnik verwirklichen lassen.The strip grain is designed as a marbled core 2.
