Weiterhin ist schon bekanntgeworden, Polystyrol in einem Lösungsmittel zu lösen, den dabei entstehenden Lack auf einen Leiter aufzutragen und durch eine Wärmebehandlung eine poröse Struktur des Polystyrols herbeizuführen. Es ist ferner bekannt, in geschmolzenem Polystyrol Gase, wie Methylenchlorid oder Dimet'hvläther, unter hohem Druck zu lösen und dieses Gemisch unter Druckentlastung erstarren zu lassen, wobei das Polystyrol blasig aufgetrieben wird. Nachdem das Gel in die Form eingebracht ist, wird diese, vorzugsweise unter Anwendung von Unterdruck, erhitzt, wobei das Quellungsmittel ausgetrieben wird.
