Bei den bekannten Heizkörpern ist das Ventil mit dem Ventilkörper und dem Regelkopf in einem Eckbereich so a^geordnet, daß die gesamte Einheit den Heizkörper überragt. Die neuerungsgemäße Anordnung hat den Vorteil, daß kein störender Ventilkörper außerhalb des Heizkörpers liegt. Da nur noch der Regelkopf außerhalb des Heizkörpers liegt, ist eine relativ kompakte Einheit mit geringerem Raumbedarf geschaffen. Als Bereich des Heizkörpers, der als Ventilgehäuse dient, wählt man vorzugsweise eine Eckzone. Dabei wird dem Ventilkörper eine Durchflußöffnung im HauptStrömungskanal zugeordnet, die mehr oder weniger zu öffnen ist.
