Collapsible Corset Spring It is known to collapse corset bars
to prevent the hollow trimmings of the corsets from being pierced
that the corset rod can shorten when it hits the end of the hollow trim.
The retractable part of the corset bar is constantly being pushed outwards by spring force
pressed so that the corset rod automatically resumes its position after the load is removed
takes on its original length. In these known collapsible. Corset rods
is the insertable part with wires, in the guides of one end cap of the other
Partly led, and the. Both parts are formed by helical compression springs surrounding the guide wires
pulled from each other. This design is cumbersome and expensive and conditional
unwanted reinforcements of the corset bar. According to the invention are collapsible
Corset feathers made of two in a flexible tube cover in, longitudinal direction against each other
Slidable spring bars made, the free ends of which are fixed to the hose cover
are. Preferably, the hose cover is on; both ends to be sewn to the
Fabric of the corset set up, for example by attaching special over it
the ends of the rods of the brain processes. The greatest length of the corset feather
is stuck through the hose cover. Due to the flexibility of the hose cover
can. the corset spring shorten when a compressive force acts on it in the longitudinal direction
is exercised, e.g. B. when the wearer of the corset bends over or sits down. The length
the corset spring adapts to the respective body movements without any noticeable expression of force
or
the posture by moving the two spring bars in the hose sleeve against each other
Slide lengthways: When straightening up from a stooped or seated position
Position, the length of the cage springs determined by the hose cover becomes automatic
restored. The two spring bars can lie loosely on top of one another in the hose casing.
You can also, without an undesired reinforcement, resilient aids
to restore the original length by removing the overlapping
Ends of the spring bars by a flat resilient tension member, e.g. B. a rubber band,
connects with each other. A guide for the other can also be attached to one spring bar
Be formed spring bar.

B.
mittels Hohlniete e fest verbunden.
The new corset spring has two spring bars a and b. The same can
in a known manner from flat steel or some other suitable material or else
consist of spiral material and through at both ends in the usual way
Be bordered by sheet metal caps. The two spring bars a and b are with their flat sides
adjacent to one another, arranged in a hose sleeve c. The latter is e.g. B.,. How
shown, of two on the longitudinal edges corresponding to those indicated in FIG
Seams d sewn together strips of flexible fiber or plastic
manufactured. But it can also be a seamless hose. In the. Near the free
The ends are the two spring bars a and - b with the hose cover e c for example
firmly connected by means of hollow rivets e. At the riveting points, to protect the hose cover
Reinforcing means f are provided. The distance between the hollow rivets e on the extended one
Hose cover c determines the installation length of the corset spring and thus the smallest
Covering the spring bars a and b, denoted by x. The hose sleeve c is on both sides
slightly extended beyond the free ends of the spring bars. The one about the spring bars
In addition, all the exemplary embodiments are the same.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the two spring bars a and b in the pliable hose sleeve c are merely loosely on top of one another with their flat sides that overlap one another.
wieder herzustellen.4 to 6 show the same embodiment with the difference
that the overlapping ends of the spring bars u and b by a resilient
Tension member, e.g. B. a rubber band g connected together. are. The latter is like that
dimensioned that 'there is already a certain tensile stress at the smallest overlap x
which increases when the two spring bars are pushed together lengthways
will. The resilient tension member g thus has the tendency to restore the two spring bars
in, returned to the starting position, thus helping the greatest length of the corset spring
restore.
In the corset spring according to FIGS. 7 to 9, the one spring bar is
a with a guide for the other spring bar b. That leadership is in that
Embodiment generated in that the spring bar a at its two longitudinal edges
crimped inwards at a1 to form guide grooves for the spring bar b
is. The spring bar a can, however, also be designed as a closed, flat hollow bar
be into which the spring bar b is inserted.
