Die positive therapeutische Wirkung magnetischer Felder wird heutzutage allgemein anerkannt. Im allgemeinen werden für therapeutische Zwecke Permanentmagnete verwendet, die als "Heilmagnete" längere Zeit in Körpernähe getragen werden und den Körper gezielt mit magnetischen Feldern durchsetzen.
