Die Abmessungen der Umrahmung stehen in einem gewissen Zusammenhang mit deren Form, und zwar sollen Abmessungen und Form so aufeinander abgestimmt sein, daß sich das am Haken aufgehängte Tuch praktisch nicht mehr faltet. Als Anhaltspunkt für die Abmessungen kann angegeben werden, daß die Umrahmung sich bis über die halbe Breite des Tuches erstrecken bzw. ausdehnen kann.
