Bracket and housing for a radio transceiver in electrical communications engineering.

The invention relates to a housing with a holder for a radio transceiver in electrical communications technology, which can be plugged into one another and thereby automatically establish mutual electrical connections with one another.

Such radio transceivers are used in mobile communications to enable telephone calls from a vehicle to a fixed station. With such devices, it is required that access to the electrical parts, in particular to the radio itself, is impossible at least without destroying important parts. 20

The invention is based on the object of specifying an arrangement which solves the problem in a simple manner.

In an arrangement of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved according to the invention in that levers are provided on both sides of the broad sides of the housing in the holder, which, when inserted, lock the housing and the holder to one another by means of locking hooks at the top and locking hooks at the bottom, and at least on one of these levers, which can be grasped from the outside and above, a lock is arranged, which prevents the lever from disengaging when locked.

The car radio 1 is located in a housing that is closed on all sides and shielded and provided with cooling fins. This housing can be inserted into a holder 2 that is open at the front, whereby locking lugs 8 are provided on the side of the housing, which can be inserted into corresponding centering slots 20 in the side walls of the holder. To prevent it from being inserted the wrong way round, one of the locking lugs has a widening 9 that can only engage in a correspondingly designed groove IG of the corresponding centering slot in the correct position. Additional centering pins 29 are provided on the base of the holder, which, by means of conical contact surfaces, ensure that the lower part of the housing is automatically centered on the electrical connection elements such as an antenna plug 7 and a multi-pin connection plug 6.

To secure the radio in this position, L-shaped levers 3 are provided on the side of the bracket, which are held in the connecting area of the two lever arms in a lever bearing bush 30 by means of a pin 31. This lever bearing pin 30 has locking hooks on the back and can therefore be easily removed when the bracket is installed. The lever 3 is braced against the base of the bracket by a spring 37, so that it automatically locks into place when the housing is pushed in.

Towards the top (insertion side), the lever 3 has hold-down hooks 12 which, when the housing is pushed in, reach behind the aforementioned locking lugs 8 and hold the radio device in place. For this purpose, the other lower leg of the lever 3 is provided with locking hooks 13 at its end which engage in a corresponding recess on the base of the holder and snap into place when the housing is pushed in. If the housing is to be removed again, the hold-down hooks 12 can be unlocked using widened handles 15 on the upper ends of the lever 3. In addition, in the base area of the holder, on the other leg of the lever 3, next to the parking position locking hooks 13, lugs 14 are provided which lift the housing upwards when the lifting handles 15 are spread apart in order to make it easier to release the multiple plug connections against their holding forces. Furthermore, damping materials are installed in the inner edges of the bracket to secure the position and provide support as well as to dampen vibration.

The electrical connections between the radio device 1 and the holder are made by a multiple plug connector 6 located in the base and an antenna plug 7. Both elements are preferably attached floating to the base in the holder. For the electrical connection to the outside, the multiple plug connector 6 is connected via a band-shaped internal wiring 24 to a multi-pin plug 25 for the power supply and five multi-pin plug connectors 20 for the other signal and supply lines as well as the connections to the control device. This unit is designed in such a way that it can be inserted into a groove 35 on the base of the holder by means of a ground plate 34. The corresponding opening in the base of the holder can finally be closed by a metallized base tray 27, which for this purpose has locking hooks 36 on the circumference, by means of which it is electrically connected to the housing. The antenna cable leads from the inner antenna plug 7 for the radio device via a channel to an antenna socket 28 for the external connection. All electrical connection elements are thus protected and concealed in a space 11 in the rear wall of the holder. The screw holes 5 of the holder are also protected and concealed, so that access to these fastening elements is denied when the housing is pushed in.

Finally, to actually secure the device against removal from the holder, a locking lock 4 is provided on at least one of the levers 4 in the area of the lever handle 15. This locking device, shown in more detail in Figure 3, consists of a cylinder locking lock 16, which is housed in a cast-in part of the centering shaft 20 for guiding the radio device. The

For this purpose, the cylinder of the locking lock has a pin 17 at the lower end that engages in the slot of a locking slide 19 and when the cylinder is rotated, this locking slide 19 can engage in a recess 21 in the lever 4 by means of a corresponding nose. The lever 4 is thus secured against spreading apart. To secure the position of the cylinder, it has an annular groove 22 in the lower area, into which a spring claw 23 engages after the entire locking unit has been inserted. The spring claw 23 is designed in such a way that it cannot be removed without being destroyed.

In this way, it is possible to design a holder for a mobile device using relatively simple means in such a way that unauthorized access is prevented without destroying important parts.
