Die neue Einrichtung bezweckt, bekannte Umlaufseinbauten im Oberkessel von Wasserröhrenkesseln wesentlich zu vereinfachen und dabei wirksamer zu machen, und zwar durch Anbringung zweier verticaler Längswände im Oberkessel. Fig. 1 bis 3 veranschaulichen im Längsschnitt, Querschnitt und Horizontalschnitt einen mit der Einrichtung versehenen Kessel, Fig. 4 bis 6 eine Abänderung.The purpose of the new facility is to create well-known circulation installations in the upper boiler of water tube boilers to simplify significantly and make it more effective, by attaching two vertical longitudinal walls in the Upper boiler. Der Oberkessel A (Fig. 1) ist vorn mit einer ringförmigen Ummantelung B versehen , in welche das vom Röhrenkessel aufsteigende Verbindungsrohr C mündet. In dem Oberkessel sind ferner zwei verticale Lä'ngswände D angeordnet, die sich jedoch nur über einen Theil des Kessels erstrecken; die durch diese Wände abgetheilten Seitenräume bilden Kanäle, die durch Löcher E mit dem Hauptraum des Oberkessels und vorn durch Oeffnungen F der Kesselwand mit dem erwähnten Ringraum B in Verbindung stehen. Es folgt hieraus, dafs das vom Röhrenkessel aufsteigende Gemisch von Wasser und Dampf sich in der Richtung der Pfeile bewegen wird, ohne auf das Wasser im Vordertheil des Oberkessels Einflufs zu haben. Die Wasseroberfläche in diesem Theile des Kessels wird demgemäfs ungestört bleiben und das hier angeordnete Wasserstandsglas immer den richtigen Wasserstand zeigen. Demnach wird auch der freie Dampfraum sehr grofs, und der abziehende Dampf ist viel trockener als bei den übrigen Constructionen.The upper boiler A (Fig. 1) is provided at the front with an annular casing B , into which the connecting pipe C rising from the tubular boiler opens. An Stelle des durch die Ummantelung B gebildeten Ringraumes kann am Vorderende des Oberkessels, wie in Fig. 4 bis 6 veranschaulicht, eine Kammer dadurch gebildet werden, dafs eine verticale Querwand B1 zwischen den Längswänden D1 eingesetzt wird. Das Wasser und der Dampf vom Steigrohr C1 strömen aus dieser Kammer durch die Oeffnungen F1 in die Seitenkanäle hinein.
