Description

Bei Karteien werden für Buchungsarbeiten u. dgl. häufig Karteikarten entnommen. Um die Entnahme einer Karte an der Entnahmestelle kenntlich zu machen, wird entweder eine Nebenkarte ein Stück weit hochgezogen oder aber herausgezogen und schräg eingelegt, oder es wird ein Papierschnitzel zwischen die beiden Nebenkarten gesteckt. Hierbei werden die Nebenkarten, zumal wenn sie schräg eingesteckt werden, in der Regel verbogen und beschädigt. Andererseits wird die ein Stück weit hochgezogene Karte zuweilen wieder zurückgestoßen, besonders wenn mehrere Personen mit der Kartei beschäftigt sind, so daß die Entnahmestelle aufgesucht werden muß, wenn die Karte bzw. das Kontenblatt der Kartei wieder zugeführt werden soll. Bei Verwendung eines Papierschnitzels vollends besteht die Gefahr, daß dasselbe zwischen den Nebenkarten herunterrutscht und die Entnahmestelle von neuem aufgesucht werden müß. Alles dies sind Behelfsmittel, die ihren Zweck ganz unvollkommen erfüllen.In card files, index cards are often used for booking work and the like taken. Gemäß der Erfindung werden diese Mängel dadurch beseitigt, daß ein Anzeigegerät, kurz gesagt ein Zeiger aus .Sperrholz, Kunststoff od. dgl., vorgesehen ist, das als Hauptmerkmal einen hakenartigen Kopf -aufweist, der zum Einhaken des Geräts an einer der Seitenwände des Karteikastens dient, wobei das Anzeigegerät an Stelle ,der entnommenen Karte einzuschieben ist. Das Anzeigegerät ist entsprechend der Karteikarte flach gehalten, kann aber sonst in verschiedenen Formen, vorgesehen sein. Eine bevorzugte Form ist die säbelartig geschwungene; dies schließt indessen eine andere Formgebung nicht aus. Das Anzeigegerät kann auch als Lineal mit einer maßstäblichen Skala ausgeführt sein.
