Description
Im Bau von Ventilatoren und Pumpen wurden hinsichtlich des Wirkungsgrads durch Verbesserung der Laufräder in den letzten Jahrzehnten solche großen Fortschritte erzielt, daß der Wirkungsgrad der Ventilatoren nur noch durch Veränderung der Gehäuseformen verbesserungsfähig erscheint. In Fig. i ist die seither übliche Gehäuseform von Zentrifugalventilatoren angedeutet, während Fig.2 einen Querschnitt durch ein strömungsgünstiges Gehäuse zeigt. Diesem Querschnitt entspricht die Seitenansicht von Fig. 3. Sowohl im Pumpenbau als auch im Ventilatorenbau wurde in jüngster Zeit das Gehäuseproblem gemäß Fig. 4 zu lösen versucht in der Weise, daß ein konisches Rohrstück stirnseitig an das andere angeschweißt wurde, um die füllhornförmige Erweiterung der Diffusorspirale in Schweißkonstruktion herstellen zu können. Der Nachteil dieser Ausführung besteht strömungstechnisch darin, daß der Luftstrom im Innern der Spirale Abknickungen erfährt, die zu Wirbelbildung und damit wiederum zu einer Verschlechterung des Wirkungsgrads führen. Die Erfindung vermeidet derartige Knickungen dadurch, daß die Diffusorspirale aus spiralförmig zugeschnittenen Blechen zusammen gesetzt wird, wie dies in Fig. 5 angedeutet ist. Fig. 6 zeigt den Querschnitt eines derartigen Gehäusestücks, wobei in vorliegendem Fall zur Vereinfachung der Ausführung die beiden Seitenstücke parallel zur Laufradscheibe, das äußerste Spiralenblech parallel zur Ventilatorachse und die übrigen Bleche unter 45° angenommen sind.
