Auf dem mittleren Ständer B werden zwei Flügel A A¹ befestigt, die eine Anzahl Streben d¹ besitzen, welche auf einer oder beiden Seiten des Ständers B angeordnet sind. Diese Streben d¹ sind mit ihren unteren Enden an der Verbindungsplatte E gelenkig befestigt, die ihrerseits am Ständer -ß so angebracht ist, dafs sie sich um den Metallansatz F dreht, der am Ständer B angebracht ist. Die oberen Enden d² der Streben sind am Stoff H befestigt, der den Schirm bildet, und der Stoff H ist am Ständer B in b² befestigt. Das Band oder die Schnur K ist an den unteren Streben d^l am oder nahe dem Ende d'² angebracht und läuft durch die anderen Streben und über die Rollen b^l, die an jeder Seite des Ständers B befestigt sind. Der übrig bleibende Theil des Bandes K hängt herunter. Wenn dieses Band niedergezogen wird, werden die Streben nach oben zusammengeklappt und an den Ständern gezogen (Fig. 2). In dieser Lage werden sie zurückgehalten z. B. durch Anbringen des Endes des Bandes an irgend einem Stift oder dergleichen auf dem Ständer jB, und die Seiten des Stoffes H werden hierbei mit angehoben (Fig. 2). Die Platten E, die sich um den Ansatz F drehen, machen es möglich, jeden Flügel A oder A¹ um sein Scharnier in irgend eine der in Fig. 3 in punktirten Linien gezeigten Lagen zu drehen.Two wings AA ¹ , which have a number of struts d ¹ , which are arranged on one or both sides of the stand B , are attached to the middle stand B. Patent Claims:

1. 2. A modification of the umbrella identified under 1., consisting in that instead of the struts only two arms (M), on which the fabric hangs, are used, whereby the arms (M) can also be brought into any position and the umbrella folds up by raising your arms.
