1)1e Erfindung betrifft einen Rost für einen mit
Holzspänen oder Holzmehl beschickten Holzver-
gaser. Eine bekannte Form eines derartigen Holz-
vergasers ist in der Fig. i schematisch dargestellt.
Der Vergaser besteht aus einem eisernen Kessel io,
in welchem zentral ein Einfiillrohr i i für 7-lolz-
späne, wie sie bei lfolrelniascliinen anfallen, oder für
Holzmehl angebracht ist. Dieser Kessel ist in seinem
unteren Teil mit einem Sockel 12 ans feuerfestem
NVerkstoft ausgekleidet. Die Deckplatte des Kessel
trägt ein mit einer :\1>sKrrklappe 13 verschlieli-
bares Abzugsrohr 14, um überschüssiges Holzgas
in einen hainin abführen zu können. Durch (las
Ruhr ij 5 \cird <las entwickelte Holzgas einer Wasch-
anlage und sodann einer Filteranlage zugeführt. Inn
unteren Teil des Vergaserraums befindet sich ein
Rost 16 bisher üblicher Ausführung.. durch den
mittels eines Ventilators 17 Druckluft in den Ver-
gaser eingeführt wird, wobei die Luftmenge durch
den Regler 18 mittels der Reglerklappe ig selbst-
tätig entsprechend den Betriebsverhältnissen 1111
Vergaserraum geregelt wird.
Bei dein in Fig. i dargestellten bekannten Rost.
einem sogenannten Etagenrost. kommt es häufig
vor, daß =\sclieiiteilchen und größere lletigen halli-
verbrannter Holzspäne auf den Rost fallen und die
zum Luftdurchtritt bestimmten Löcher des Rostes
verstopfen., so daß eine gründliche Reinigung des
ganzen Rostkörpers notwendig wird.
Es ist bereits bekannt, dem Rost eines ähnlich
ausgebildeten Holzvergasers in seinem oberen Teil
olle Gestalt eines Kegels zu geben.. Dabei ist dieser
Kegel aus mehreren abgestuft übereinander gesetz-
ten konisch verformten Ringen mit einem mittleren
Dachteil zusammengesetzt, so daß die Lufteinströ-
inungskanäle die Form ringförmiger Schlitze auf-
weisen. Sämtliche Schlitze sind in gleicher Weise
nach unten geneigt. Inifolgedessen wird die höchste
Temperatur hierbei in einem verhältnismäßig be-
schränkten äußeren Ringraum erhalten. Dies führt
zu einer unvollständigen Verbrennung und ins-
besondere verlassen die Teerprodukte die Anord-
nung nahezu ungeändert, was zu zusätzlichen Rei-
nigungsanlagen zwingt.
Die oben beschriebenen Schwierigkeiten werden
gemäß der Erfindung dadurch überwunden, daß die
dem Vergasungsraum zugekehrte Oberfläche des
Rostes konvex gekrümmt ist oder die Form eines
Kegels aufweist und daß der Rost in der Nähe
seines Scheitels keine Bohrungen enthält, während
:ein übriger Teil mit zum Einblasen von Luft die-
nenden Bohrungen versehen ist, deren Achsen mit
zunehmendem Abstand vom Scheitel des Rostes zu-
nehmend nach dein Rand des Rostes zu geneigt sind.

gibt eine solche Führung der zugeführten Ver-
l)renntings,luft, daß sich um den Rost herum eine
glockenförmige Verbrennungszone ausbildet, in der
c 1 n Teil 1 der zugeführten Luft an der konyex

I<i-iiiiiiiiten Rostfläche entlang zu streichen gezwun-
gen ist, so daß die bei der Verbrennung entstehen-
den Aschenteilchen ständig mitgenommen und
durch rings um den Rost herum angeordnete .U-
zugsöftnungen entfernt werden.
Eine vorzugsweise Ausführungsform der Er-
findting ist in den Fig. 2 und 3 dargestellt. Die Fig. 2
-neigt einen Rost 2o mit einem kugelsegmentartig
geformten mittleren Teil, in welchem eine Reihe von
Bohrungen 21 derart angebracht ist, daß die ein-
geblasene Luft nicht nur wie bei dem in Fig. i dar-
gestellten Etagenrost in horizontaler Richtung und
schräg nach oben gerichtet in den Vergaserraum ge-
langt, sondern in sehr vielen verschiedenen Rich-
tungen in den Vergaserraum eingeblasen wird.

Rostfläche ist ohne Bohrungen ausgeführt. Bei den
vorgesehenen vielen verschiedenen Einströmrich-
tungen bildet sich in einem gewissen Abstand von
der Rostoberfläche eine Verbrennungszone aus, die
den Rost glockenförmig umgibt, ohne gelegentlich
wie bei dem bekannten Etagenrost zusammenzu-
brechen und den Rost zu verstopfen, und die mit
dazu beiträgt, daß die bei der Verbrennung ent-
stehenden Aschenteilchen gut abgeführt werden.

durch radial liegende Schlitze 22 in dein ebenen
kandteil23, welcher den gekrümmten mittleren
Kostteil umgibt. Aus der unterhalb des Rostes ge-

Um ein Festsetzen von Aschenresten in den
Schlitzeni 22 zu vermeiden, kann der Rost um seine
senkrechte Symmetrieachse von Zeit zu Zeit gedreht
werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Rostkörper in eine
mit einem Zahnkranz 24 versehene Scheibe 25 ein-
gesetzt, und mit dem Zahnikranz arbeitet ein Ritzel
26 zusammen, dessen Welle 27 aus dem unterhalb
des Rostes befindlichen Raum herausgeführt ist und
dort mittels eines Handrades verdreht wird. Bei der
Drehung rollt die Scheibe 25 auf einer Mehrzahl
voll Kugeln 28, die sich in einen Kreisringrattm be-
finden, der von zwei Ringen 29 und 30 je recht-
winikligenr Querschnitts begrenzt wird. Der Ring 29
ist an der Scheibe 25 befestigt, während der Ring
3o auf einer Anzahl von Stützen 31 in dem unter
der Rostfläche gelegenen Raum getragen wird.
Ein drehbarer Rost ist all sich bereits bekannt,
doch erfolgt hei der bekannten :lusfiihrungsform
die Drehung, um die Schlacke zwischen <lern Rost

vorliegenden Falle nicht angestrebt, sondern es
werden Erschütterungen erzielt, die ein Festsetzen
von Aschenteilchen in den Schlitzen verhindern.
Dieselbe Wirkung, wie sie mit dem beschriebenen
gewölbten Rost erzielt wird, nämlich die Ver-
brennungsluft vom Rost aus annähernd gleichmäßig
nach allen Richtungen in den Vergaserraum einzu-
führen und die in der Verbrennungszone entstehen-
den Aschenteilchen aus ihr zu entfernen, kann ge-
mäß einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Erfindung
auch daduficli erzielt werden, claß in einen Rost-
körper in Form eines Kegels nach Fig. 4 oder auch
in, Form eines Kegelstumpfes eine Reihe von Roh-
rungen derart verschiedener Richtung angebracht
wird, daß die zugeführte Luft sich annähernd
