The invention relates to a rail mounting plate and consists
in that the edges of a metal plate partially to rail foot clasping hooks
bent up and partly with devices for attaching threshold fasteners,
such as holes for rail nails, as well as the plate parallel to the
the aforementioned edges in two plate parts, namely a left and right rail foot fastening part,
is dismantled. It is advantageous to use the dividing line for dismantling the plate
to run in two fastening parts according to tongue and groove type and thereby
To obtain guide surfaces on which the parts are after inserting the rail foot
are able to lead each other. This makes it possible to use rails
to be attached with differently sized feet and a plate part of the rail mounting plate
to be arranged already in the workshop on the sleepers, whereby at the point of use
only the opposite rail fastening plate in the rail foot
needs to be inserted and anchored to the threshold. It also appears
expedient, protruding on the plate part coming into contact with the threshold
To attach claws that wedge into the wood fibers of the wooden sleeper.
The advantages achieved by the invention can be seen in the fact that
the manufacturing process for the manufacture of rail mounting plates is essential
has been simplified; the feedstock of the panel with no waste for manufacture
a rail fastening is used in such a way that the rail foot has a smooth support
and is held tightly. The sideshift exerted by vehicles on rails
is caught by means of a wide area, with the one on the opposite
Side resulting tensile forces through clamping devices arranged under and over the rail foot
be recorded and held. Another advantage achieved by the invention
can be seen in the fact that different sizes of rails are held by the plate
körnen and a mutual guidance of the plate parts both in rails with a
Foot of z. B. 90 mm width as well as rails with a foot of 10 8 mm width
consists. It should also be emphasized for the invention that the mounting plate
can not be damaged by derailed wagons, because in the event of a derailment
of a wagon on the inside of the track of the wheel flange on the side of the rail fastening
runs on the sleepers and therefore does not touch the rail mounting plate,
and in the event of an external derailment of the flange via the ones resting on the rail foot
Holder unrolls and here also cannot cause any damage.
A rail nail is used to attach the base plate
the threshold.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention as an example
shown. FIG. 1 shows a side view of a rail fastening plate
and FIG. 2 is a plan view with a partial section.
From Fig. 2 it can be seen that rail foot clasping hooks 3 and tongue-like, not bent plate parts 4 are formed from a rectangular plate i by incisions in the direction of the plate longitudinal axis on the two short plate sides by bending. The latter are provided with a perforation 5 for inserting a rail nail io. The plate is divided into two parts a and b . The dividing line 2 runs essentially parallel to the above-mentioned plate edges, i.e. in the direction of the rail foot, but is partly guided in the tongue and groove manner so that one or more tongues 7 arise in the plate part b, which engage in grooves 8 of the adjacent plate part a and become lead on their edge surfaces. If the plate part a is firmly connected to a wooden sleeper and the rail foot is inserted, the plate part b can firmly clasp rail feet of several sizes by placing it under the rail foot and applying the fastening hooks 3, the tongue 7 fitting as a tongue into the groove 8 of the plate part a. With different rail foot sizes, the plate parts are guided as long as the length of the tongue 7 is sufficient. On the underside of the plate that comes into contact with the rail sleeper, claws 9 are attached by punching or welding on plate surfaces that are as far apart as possible, which engage the fibers of the wooden sleeper and absorb tensile and compressive forces.
