Housing, in particular for electrical equipment The invention is concerned
with the task of creating a housing, especially for electrical devices,
which in its serial production is simple and also dimensionally stable and stable
is. According to the invention, such a housing consists of interchangeable shell halves
with the abutting edges of the same overlapping edge parts.
To explain the invention is an exemplary embodiment for
a transformer, in particular a welding transformer, specific housing
selected, which is shown in Figs. i to 4 in different views.
Gehäuses in perspektivischer Darstellung.
I shows one of the shell halves according to the invention

for one of the four fastening bolts can be seen. The right edge 3 is with
a protruding edge part 4 is provided to after the assembly of this shell half
with the exactly identically designed second shell half on the two abutment edges
to cover this point. The left abutting edge 5 is through one of the edge part
4 Covered corresponding edge part on the second, identically designed shell half.
The ribs 6 are used to increase the dimensional stability and secure the stand of the housing,
since their thickness corresponds to the thickness of the edge part. The one at the front of the shell half
existing recess is provided with a nut 7 to one with sockets
provided connection plate without the need for special means to fix it,
z. B. screws, is required to include. On the back of the shell half
there is a spout-like bulge 8, which has one or more transverse ribs,
z. B. 9, has to lead through the spout-like opening connecting cable
for the transformer
to keep them safe from pulling. The vents
To are grouped radially around an eye i i that can be seen in FIG.
Gehäuse in perspektivischer Ansicht wieder.
imAuge i Vierkantform besitzen.
Fig. i Bezugszeichen 2) besitzen.
bauten Transformatorkernes dienen. Die Fig. 4
läßt auch besonders deutlich die Befestigung der
mit Steckerbuchsen, z. B. 21, ausgerüsteten An-
schlußplatte 12 an der Vorderwand des Gehäuses
unter Benutzung einer -Nut 7 erkennen.
Fig. 2 shows the housing assembled from the shell halves of Fig. I in a perspective view. You can see how the edge parts .4 here cover the abutting edges 3 or 5 of the shell halves and the ribs 6 increase the dimensional stability and stability of the housing. On the front side, the connection plate 12 inserted into the aforementioned groove 7 (FIG. I) with the multiple connector sockets can also be seen. The cable 13, which is guided through the aforementioned sleeve-like bulge equipped with transverse ribs, is also shown here. It should also be mentioned that a radial arrangement of the ventilation openings is chosen in order to achieve a good flow of material during casting during the production of the shell halves in the casting process and to allow the casting material to shoot up slightly towards the walls after the area containing the ventilation openings has been filled the sprue starts in the middle of the shell half at the eye ii. This is increased so that it can be easily sanded off after casting. The openings 14 are initially round holes leading into the eye i, which have a square shape behind a web in the eye i, which cannot be seen here. These details can be seen in FIG. 3, which shows the housing in section.-1-B of the side view of the housing shown in FIG. 4. From Fig. 3 it can be seen that the openings 14 are initially round holes into which pierced webs 15 protrude, behind which the above-mentioned holes have a square shape 16 (see FIG. 1, reference numeral 2). The bolts 17 which serve to press the shell halves together and which also hold the transformer at the same time are passed through these holes. The assembly is done in the following way: The bolts 17 are inserted into the openings 14 of a shell half until they rest with their heads on the webs 15, the distance and strength of which is determined by the bolt length. The transformer, assembled without brackets and nuts, is fitted with its laminated core 18 carrying the wire winding onto the bolts 17 so that the laminated core 18 rests on the eyes i. Square pieces i9 provided with internal threads are screwed onto the bolts in order to press the laminated core 18 together and at the same time to hold the entire transformer in the housing. The second shell half is turned up on this, the square holes 16 (FIG. I, reference numeral 2) in the eyes i receiving the square pieces i9 provided with female threads and securing them against twisting. Now, by screwing the screws 20 into the square pieces i9, both shell halves are pressed together. Part of the eyes lying on the side of the shell half r

for the free legs of the EI sheet metal
built transformer cores serve. The Fig. 4
also lets the attachment of the
with sockets, e.g. B. 21, equipped
closing plate 12 on the front wall of the housing
recognize using a groove 7.
