Description
Lifting device for spring-loaded valves For lifting the cone of spring-loaded valves devices are known in which by means of a Thumb shaft the valve is lifted with the thumb pressing on the valve can act or can open the valve cone by engaging an eyelet.
A new type is described below. In Fig. I and 2 i is the valve housing with the valve cone 2, to the extension 3 of which a tie rod is articulated like a fork and the other end of which is flat (Abt). z and 8) and the opening 5 receives. The thumb 6 of the thumb disk j, which is pushed onto the square of the shaft 8, can engage in this opening. This shaft is passed through the valve cover io by means of a stuffing box 9 and is z. B. operated by operating lever. In order to easily put on the cover and secure engagement of the thumb 6 in the opening 5, the thumb washer is provided on both sides of the thumb with shoulders ii on which the flat end of the pull rod 4 rests when the valve is in the closed position. The housing wall receives lugs 12. The free space between the flat end of the pull rod and the housing lugs 12 is at least equal to the arch height which the center point of the thumb cavity writes during a movement corresponding to the valve stroke.
When putting on the cover, the thumb disk becomes so wide as shown in Fig. 3 turned back so that the flat end of the pull rod enters the space between the Thumb disk or: the shoulder i i and the housing attachment 12 can be inserted, when the cover is pushed up to the valve housing ' and then screwed will. The pull rod and thumb disk then have the position in relation to each other as shown in Figure 4. the The thumb disk is then moved forward again to the rest position of the .- \ b1>. i rotated, here the date is still a short distance from the inner one Pressure side of the pull rod. If you turn the thumb disk further, as shown in Fig. 5 the thumb pulls the pull rod and begins to open the valve. The pull rod begins to lift off the shoulder until, according to Fig. 6, at about half the valve lift, the highest position reached.
In this position, she has only one of the Geliäusewall approaches 12 left small distance that is only given by manufacturing considerations. With further 7 rotation, the 1? Id position and full valve lift is achieved. Because the shoulders i i do not reach as far as the pull rod in this position. is the position of the tie rod from Beginning to the end of the valve stroke through the intervention of the 1) aumetis on the pressure side determined by the pull rod. without being hindered by the shoulders i 1 \% - grounding. the Riic'kwärtshewegung proceeds accordingly; remains after the end of the valve stroke the pull rod lie back on the shoulders, which are now turned up again, and the The thumb goes back to the rest position as shown in Fig. 1.
When you lift the lid, your thumb will first return to its position Fig. 4 rotated and the lid can be pulled off freely. So that the pull rod does not prematurely slides off the shoulders i i and with its opening 5 on the thumb falls, the rear end of the pull rod is so long to the opening, that it can only lead off when the thumb has already passed the opening 5 is.
The device described can also be provided with a lock which prevents the closed valve from uul> eabsiclitigt, e.g. 13. through acceleration pressures, can open. For this purpose, a drop wedge 13 is arranged according to Fig. 9, which can swing around the fixed bolt 14. The pull rod 4a is provided with a long slot 50 which is open towards the valve cone, and the valve cone extension 3a can be extended in a suitable manner towards the thumb disk. If the valve is closed, the drop wedge 13 falls, if necessary by spring force, and lies with the wedge surface 15 against the valve cone shoulder 3 °, the angle ß is such that complete blocking of the valve cone against opening is obtained. When the valve is opened, the blockage is first lifted by first lifting the drop wedge as shown in Fig. Only then does the thumb take hold of the pull rod 4a and begin to open the valve. The device can be created in such a way that, as shown in Fig. 11 and 12, the drop wedge is supported on the valve cone attachment when it opens further, while the thumb lifts off the drop wedge again. This allows the pivot point of the drop wedge (bolt 14) to be placed further towards the valve cone, possibly beyond the highest thumb position, and thus, together with the extended valve cone extension 3 °, a short drop wedge can be obtained. The advantages of the chewing method are that few, simple and space-saving parts can be used. Lateral forces on the valve cone occur only to a very small extent as a result of the pull rod on the valve. The difficulties of properly grasping the pulling device, otherwise associated with a hinged pull rod, are eliminated by the design; the pull rod is inevitably brought into its correct position when the cover is put on and then remains in this position because it cannot twist due to the limitation by the shoulders ri and lugs 12.
