Die Erfindung hetriftt einen Herd oder Öfen,
dessen Füllschacht ollen an der vorderen Seite offen
ist zur Bildung der Füllöffnung und durch an der
hinteren Seite eintretende Luft gekühlt wird.
Zweck der Erfindung ist bei einem Herd oder
( )feie der obenerwähnten Art, den Schacht in solcher
Weise durch Luft zu kühlen, daß eine triftige Zirku-
lation der Luft gewährleistet ist und somit eine be-
scliletinigte Anheizung des Raumes erzielt wird. Zu
diesem Zweck ist erfindungsgemäß an den beiden
Scitenwän(len des Füllschachtes ein flacher Luft-
kasten angeordnet, welche Kasten von oben wenig-
stens zuni Teil offen sind und an der Vorderwand
des l,iillscliachtes durch einen unter der Füllöffnung
liegenden Kanal miteinander verbunden sind. Dabei
lialx#n die Kasteie an der Hinterwand des Herdes
))der Ofens in der Nähe ihres unteren 1?ndes je zwei
iibereinanderliegende Einlaßöffmingen für die
1.tift und ist oberhalb jeder dieser Öffnungen im
Kasten eine Führungswand vorgesehen, derart, daß
die oberhalb der unteren Einlaßöffnung aligeordiiete
l,' iilirungswan(1 sich weiter nach vorn erstreckt als
die nberhalb der olleren Einlaßöffnüng angeordnete
Fü'hrungswan Ki. 13e) dieser Anordnung wird durch
die natiirliclie Zirkulation Tiber die ganze Tiefe der
Luftkasten eine kräftige aufwärts gerichtete Lutt-
stri>mung erzielt, welche durch den unter der Füll-
iiftnung liegenden Querkanal noch verstärkt wird,
da dieser Kanal sowohl durch die Stralilting des
[,'euers als von den Verbrennungsgasen viel Wärine
aufnimmt und somit den Zug an den Einlali-
iifflitinUen für die Luft fördert.
Zwecks Verstärkung des durch den 1>ei dein Herd
Oder Ofen nach der Erfindung unter der Füll-
iiffnung liegenden Querkanal erzeugten Zuge
küinien eine oder beide .der unteren Fiilirungswän(le
sich in diesem Kanal an der Vorderwand des Füll-
scli;tclites fortsetzen.
I )ie Erfindung wird an Hand der Zeicilinutig an
einem Ausführungsbeispiel näher erläutert. In der
Zeiclinting ist nur das Innenwerk eines Herdes dar-
so (laß der Mantel und der obere Abfluß (1#s
Müllschachtes fortgelassen sind.

Der Füllschacht i weist einen rechteckigen Quer-
schnitt auf nntl besitzt an beiden Seiten doppelte

Der Füllschacht endet iii einen leicht auszu-

mide ausbreitet. Die an allen Seiten (les Füllschachtes
frei aufsteigenden Verbrennungsgase entweichen
seitlich durch die beiden Öffnungen i #5 liindurcli in
einen Zirkülationskasten toi. )ler jede gewünschte
Form aufweisen kann.
Da besonders der Ö uerl;anal 8 nicht nur der Er-
Iiitzung -durch die aufsteigenden Verbrennungsgase.
sondern auch der strahlenden Wärme des Feuers
ausgesetzt ist, wird dieser Kanal den Zug an der
Einlaßöffnung verstlirken finit dein Erfolg, daß durch
Injektorwirkung auch der Luftstrom in (ler Öitnung
t t verstärkt wird. so (lall eine kräftige Luftzirkula-
tion gewährleistet ist.
Es sei bemerkt, daß die Erfindung sich nicht auf
die besclirielwne und dargestellte Ausführungsforen
besc.liränkt. da dieselbe in verschie(k#ner Weise ge-
ändert werden kann. So kann hei einem Herd die
Hinterwand .desselben zu gleic'lter Zeit die bintere
