Description

With wire hook connections on belts and special conveyor belts are protective devices became known that resulted from or vulcanized tabs or slipped on Sheaths exist. They do the job that To protect wire eyelets from wear and tear and that To prevent the falling through of conveyed goods are, however expensive and time consuming to install and are subject to wear and tear soon. The invention replaces the known protective means through massive, in the running direction of the belt Eyes interspersed, essentially rod-shaped Protective caps that can easily be pushed in and out can be dismantled again 'and opposite the well-known an excellent protection of the Belt ends against the additional bending stress secure the information. those with wire hook connections appear. The essence of the invention is that the new caps are no longer made from just one or both side covering rubber flaps, 'but one massive, the whole eyelet connection through- accordingly cut out for and for the eyelets, rod-shaped body, which after the Eyelets pushed in from both sides and through connected to the pin, from the wire connector self-penetrated and thus immovably is held. The body can be made of rubber or a equivalent, more or less elastic Plastic consist and in whole or at large Bandwidth can be inserted in pieces. According to the invention, the body is also arched outer surface, so that the band Consent on one or both sides of a bead is covered. This has the consequence that when running up of the connector on the disc the tape ends \ () n you pulled the trigger - # N-earth. The one through the l) ralltlia! Ken stiffened and in the direction of the tangent aspiring band ends can then not through the Radial component of the belt tension towards the disc be bent, and 'the frequently observed damage treatment of the outer skin of the band at the point of penetration the wire hook is omitted. Figures, i to 3 show the new protective cap, and although in Fig. I in cross section, over the connector eyes pushed the left end of the tape, Fig. 2 in plan view utid in I.1-ing section through the middle, 3 in side view finite flow savings for the wire eyelets. With the new protective cap -the bulges w marked cover flaps by webs s bound, which cover the gaps between the wire eyelets. fill and take the cap to a staff member shaped built-in element that can be pushing the connecting pin reversible finite the strap lock is connected and in this layman every failure of Fördergut @erliitidert. Fig.4 shows the `effect of the beads a, when Run-up of the band: dverhindumg on the panes. With the connecting hooks shown on the left are the ends of the tape stiffened ulid looking iti rich direction of the tangent to stand out from the disc. In contrast, the 13ati- (lzug creates an ani Connecting pin to the center of the pane potiente that pulls the tape ends to the disc utid so at the places indicated by the double arrow results in a bending stressful. the zti l) e- Damage to the ligament will result in 'katiti. Through this, that the bead on the Place the reed eggs in front of the pane stops, this process will be rounded off and that End of tape before damage @@ irl; sam closed.
