Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine dicht verschliefsbare Kanne aus Steingut oder dergleichen, welche besonders zur Aufnahme von Bier geeignet und dadurch ausgezeichnet ist, dafs die Vorrichtung, welche den dichten Schlufs des Deckels herbeiführt, gleichzeitig die feste Verspannung der Beschlagtheile bewirkt.
