In artificial hands, it is known to use the thumb and the one opposite it
Move your fingers through a rod and lock it in the desired position.
For this purpose, a ratchet segment is mounted on a stationary part
to which the rods are hinged for the finger movements. At the pivot point of the ratchet segment
a rocker arm is also mounted, at the free end of which a pawl can swing out
is attached, which can be operated by a pull rod with an 'from the outside', the toggle lever
connected is. Besides these artificial hands with mechanically movable against each other
Fingers are also known art hands in which only the thumb against the
Pressure of a spring can be swung out. The purpose of the invention is in the latter
Art of artificial hands to provide a lock of the thumb in such a way that a
absolutely secure holding of the folded object by means of a so-called re-pressing
occurs at the time of blocking. The novelty of the invention is that a ratchet segment
directly with the twistable thumb pushing in the rest position under the tension of a spring
rigidly connected and a pawl carrying rocker arm in the fulcrum of the
Thumb is stored. This makes the lockout easier and more reliable
achieved. By eliminating the previously common linkage and large number of joints
a particularly good post-closure is also achieved. In the drawing is a
Exemplary embodiment of the locking device according to the invention shown in side view.
Lie Kunsthand 1 carries in a joint 4 the movable thumb 2, which is known in
Way is pressed by a tension spring 6 in the rest position shown. Independent
The thumb can use the locking device described below at any time
d. H. when the lock is not actuated, freely opposite the fixed fingers 3 um
the joint 4 can be moved. According to the invention, a ratchet segment 5 is immediate
and rigidly connected to the thumb 2. In the fulcrum 4 of the thumb is also the
Rocker arm 7 mounted. A pawl 8 is located in the joint 14 on the rocker arm
attached so that it can swing out. This pawl is permanently in by a tension spring g
the drawn disengagement is drawn. A stop 10 is this disengaged position
limited. The pawl 8 is in by a pull rod 11 with the toggle lever 12
Connection which is pivoted from the outside by means of the push button 13 or the like.
Should the thumb 2 be in its rest position or some other position
are locked, the toggle lever 12 is rotated in the direction of arrow a, so that
the pawl 8 moves in the direction of arrow b against the ratchet segment 5 and the lock
causes. At the same time there is also a movement of the rocker arm 7 in the direction of the arrow
c, as a result of which an intensive re-lock occurs, since, in contrast to the known, none
Transmission linkage between the ratchet segment and the movable thumb 2 is present
is.
