Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine neue umlaufende Dampfmaschine. Eine Ausführungsform derselben ist auf beiliegender Zeichnung zur Darstellung gebracht, und zwar ist:The present invention is a new rotating steam engine. K (Fig. 1) ist der Mantel des Kapselwerkes; an denselben ist jederzeit ein Deckel A bezw. J geschlossen. An den Deckel A ist eine halbkreisförmige Kammer B gegossen, welche, wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, in zwei schiefe Ebenen endigt und, letztere eingeschlossen, einen Bogen von ungefähr i8o° bildet. In der Mitte dieses Bogens ist eine Wand C eingegossen, welche die Kammer in zwei gleiche Abtheilungen trennt. An den Deckel / ist eine ähnliche Kammer B[ gegossen; dieselbe besitzt jedoch einen greiseren Radius als die Kammer B und ist gegen letztere um i8o° versetzt. Beide Deckel besitzen einen centralen Angufs. In denjenigen des Deckels / ist das Spurlager M und in denjenigen des Deckels A ist die Büchse M1 gesetzt. In diesem Spurlager und der Büchse läuft die Welle F. Auf letztere sind aufsen ein Schwungrad und eine Riemscheibe und innen zwischen A und J die Scheibe L gekeilt, welche dicht an den äufseren Wandungen der Kammern B und B1 läuft. Die Führung und Dichtung zwischen den Enden von L und den Deckeln A und J wird durch breite Stahlringe IP und NN1 gebildet, welche zwischen Metallririge HH1 und O O1 in entsprechende Nuthen G der Deckel- und Scheibenenden gelegt sind. Zwischen den beiden Wangen befinden sich zwei kleine Platten Z (Fig. 6), deren Verbindungsstellen, wie aus Fig. 7 ersichtlich, regelmäfsig gegen einander versetzt sind. Beinahe im Centrum dieser Plattenverbindung sind federnde Ringe Y eingesetzt, welche sämmtliche Platten gegen die Wandungen der durch die Deckel A und J, die Angüsse B und B1 und . die Scheibe L gebildeten Kammern pressen.The disk L has two diametrically opposed slots in which two piston plates PQ slide back and forth.
