Als Auskleidung verwendet man zweckmäßig Metalle, die gegen Sauerstoff beständig sind, z. B. Kupfer, Nickel u. dgl. Die Vorrichtung kann in verschiedener Beziehung abgeändert werden, z. B. können mehrere Einführungen für Wasser angeordnet sein, die sich zum Teil in der Zuführung und in der Düse befinden. Die Düse kann z. B. zur Einführung von Sauerstoff in Stahlschmelzen im Siemens-Martinofen, ferner auch für Konverter oder Elektroöfen verwendet werden.An apparatus for practicing the method according to the invention is shown schematically in the figure.
