Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The present invention forms a composite iron and stone carrier which on the one hand because of its great load-bearing capacity, on the other hand because of the stone part the fulfillment of the necessary hold is of particular advantage.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist:The attached drawing shows:
Fig. ι eine perspectivische Ansicht des Trägers, Fig. 2 ein Grundrifs,Fig. Ι a perspective view of the carrier, Fig. 2 shows a basic outline,
Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht undFig. 3 is a side view and
Fig. 4 ein Querschnitt durch zwei Träger.4 shows a cross section through two carriers.
In the arrangement illustrated in the accompanying drawing, the two flat irons a 1 form the iron part of the carrier on which the stones are fastened in the manner shown in FIG. The stones b l b l are built up alternately on the side and one behind the other along the flat iron and connected by means of mortar joints. The fastening to the flat iron takes place by means of bolts c 1 arranged at a suitable distance, which are provided at the bottom with a plate d 1 which engages under the flat iron a 1 a x. At the top of each bolt has an anchor plate e lying directly on the stones, against which the bolt can be tightened by a nut f. In this way a firm connection between iron and stones is achieved. The girders are first completed in the manner described above, after which the space is made with vertical vaults or arches in the usual way. Instead of half stones g apply, you can also take all the stones that are then laid on its side.
Instead of two flat irons α 1 , one can also use one which then has to be provided with holes to accommodate the connecting rollers.
