am Mototrad, welche wahlweise als Soziussitz oder als Gepäckträger Verwendung finden
kann. Bisher hatte man nur die Möglichkeit, den Soziussitz abzunehmen oder das Gepäckstück
auf den Tank zu legen. Abgesehen davon, daß mit dem Abnehmen des Sitzes auch, nachdem
das Gepäckstück an Ort und Stelle geschafft war, die Möglichkeit beseitigt war,
etwa auf der Rück= fahrt eine Person zu befördern, ist das Auflegen des Gepäckes

in zusammengelegtem Zustande mit einer auf dem Gepäckträger des Motorrades befestigten
Trägerplatte in ihren Umrissen decken. Die beiden Sitzhälften sind mittels Scharniere,
Klavierbänder o. dgl. mit den Seitenkanten ihrer Grundplatten an den Seitenkanten
der Trägerplatte in der Weise angelenkt, daß sie um i8o° umgelegt werden können
und nunmehr mit der Unterseite ihrer Grundplatten in einer Ebene mit der Oberseite
der Trägerplatte liegen. Die so entstandene, insgesamt um das Doppelte der früheren
Sitzfläche vergrößerte Auflagefläche bietet Platz genug zur Aufnahme von Gepäckstücken
