Es sind dampfbeheizte Bügeleisen mit Dämpfvorrichtung bekannt, bei
welchen das Dämpfventil vorn seitlich oder auf dem Bügeleisenkörper angeordnet ist.
Bei diesen Bauarten liegt die Ventilspindel innerhalb des Dampfdruckraumes, so daß
ihre Stopfbüchsenpackung stets unter vollem Dampfdruck steht und deshalb sehr anfällig
für Undichtigkeiten ist. Hierbei sind Verbrühungen der Hand des Bügelnden durch
den ausströmenden Dampf, zumal beim Vorschieben des Eisens, nicht zu vermeiden.
Weiter gestattet die vordere Ventilanordnung in Verbindung mit einer doppelseitigen
Griffabstützung keine restlose Ausnutzung der Bügelfläche beim Innenbügeln schlauchartiger
