Als Lampe 2 ist eine Quecksilberdampf-Hochdruckentladungslampe, z.B. mit 80 V Leistungsaufnahme, verwendet. Der den Hochdruck-Brenner (nicht gezeigt) umgebende Außenkolben 18 der Lampe 2 ist als Reflektor ausgebildet. Hierdurch kann auf Reflektorteile des Leuchtengehäuses verzichtet werden. Das die Lampe 2 umschließende Gehäuseteil besteht aus vier bogenförmigen Rippen 19i an denen das Zylinderteil 20 angesetzt ist. Hierdurch ist eine gute Wärmeabstrahlung von der Lampe 2 gewährleistet. Das die Fassung 4 und den Stauraum 16 enthaltende Gehäuseteil 21 ist zylinderförmig ausgebildet.
