There are screen printing frame systems with main and fabric frames. The fabric frames are either firmly connected to the main frame, e.g. screwed together, or inserted into precisely fitting caps. These gate drives require tension and a lot of time to assemble. If the fabric frames are to hold stretched fabric, they are designed to be strong, particularly in height, to absorb the torsion that occurs, and this makes them as expensive as normal screen printing frames.

The inventive task was to find a cheap fabric frame for changing the visually impaired fabrics, which can be changed quickly and still guarantees the right fit. It was found that it is sufficient to design the fabric frames so that they are sufficiently stable against deflection and to a lesser extent against torsion.
