Die Neuerung betrifft eine Randleiste für Deckenverkleidungen aus Brettern oder Leisten. Bei derartigen Deckenverkleidungen aus Profilbrettern oder dergleichen ist es schwierig, einen sauberen und einwandfreien Randabschluß zu erzielen. Oberhalb der Nut 8 sind Befestigungselemente 11 vorgesehen, die die Randleiste 6 an der Wand 2 festhalten. Die Randleiste 6 verläuft genau innerhalb der Kante zwischen Wand 2 und Decke 1. Damit paßt sich die Randleiste genau dem Verlauf der Kante an. In die Nut 8 werden die Stirnenden der Profilbretter 5 eingeschoben, so daß die Profilbretter 5 einen gleichmäßigen Abschluß haben. Auch wenn die Profilbretter ecwas unsauber abgeschnitten sind, ist ein gleichmäßiger und gleichförmiger Abschluß gewährleistet.
