Description

KAISERLICHES
PATENTAMT.
Diese Erfindung bezweckt eine Vereinfachung der durch Patent Nr. 68355 geschützten, zur Rauchverbrennung dienenden Einrichtung an Dampfkesseln.
Während dort ein vom Hauptkessel getrennter doppelwandiger Vorkessel angewendet, ist, dessen innerer, mit dem Hauptkessel communicirender Hohlraum das Brennmaterial in sich aufnimmt, wird hier die hintere, dem Kessel zugekehrte Doppelwandung durch die Wandung des Hauptkessels gebildet, welche behufs Verbindung des Hauptkessels mit dem Vorkessel an der Stelle des Anschlusses mit Durchbrechungen versehen ist.
Fig. ι bis 3 zeigen die Erfindung an einem Flammrohrkessel und Fig. 4 bis 6 an einem Lokomotivkessel. K ist der Hauptkessel und A der Vorkessel, dessen Doppelmantel M mit seiner hinten offenen Seite an dem mit entsprechenden Oeffnungen i versehenen Hauptkessel angeschlossen ist. D ist der Rost, E die Reinigungsthür und F die Auslafsöffnung für die Feuergase zum Hauptkessel K; durch die Thür 5 wird das Brennmaterial in den inneren Raum des Vorkessels A eingebracht. \ ist die mit Lufteinlafsöffnungen ρ und t versehene Kühlkappe, welche zur Vermeidung der zu grofsen Hitzeausstrahlung des Vorkessels A dient.

Claims (1)

  1. Patent-Anspruch:
    An dem durch Patent Nr. 68355 geschützten Vorkessel für Dampfkessel die Anordnung, wonach der Hohlraum desselben nach hinten nicht durch einen Theil des Doppelmantels, sondern durch die mit Durchbrechungen (i) versehene Wand des Hauptkessels (K) begrenzt wird, durch welche Durchbrechungen die Communication des Doppelmantels mit dem Hauptkessel stattfindet.
