Description
Verfahren zum Herstellen elektrischer Anschlußstücke an Aluminiumseilen und -kabeln Beim Anschließen von Aluminiumseilen oder verseilten Aluminiumkabeln an elektrische Klemmen müssen bekanntlich die einzelnen Leiter des Kabels zu einem vollen Anschlußstück zusammengeschmolzen werden, weil andernfalls infolge der isolierenden Oxydschicht zwischen den Einzelleitern der Strom nur von wenigen Einzelleitern abgeführt wird. Das bei einem solchen Verfahren entstehende volle Anschlußstück, das z. B. die Form eines Zylinders, eines Kabelschuhe,s, eines Flachstückes für Schienenanschluß oder jede andere Form haben kann, hat jedoch, wie bekannt, noch den Nachteil, daß es unter dem Druck der Kontaktdruckschrauben im Laufe der Zeit nachfließt, so daß der Stromübergang sich verschlechtert.Process for the production of electrical connectors on aluminum cables and cables When connecting aluminum ropes or stranded aluminum cables As is well known, the individual conductors of the cable must be connected to electrical terminals full connector are fused together because otherwise as a result of the insulating Oxide layer between the individual conductors only dissipates the current from a few individual conductors will. Es kann z. B. beim Zusammenschmelzen der Einzeldrähte, das etwa in bekannter Weise mittels eines Gebläsebrenners in einer das Kabel umschließenden Stahlmuffel vorgenommen wird, statt des früher üblichen Aluminiumzusatzes mindestens teilweise eine Aluminium m-Silicium -Legierung zugegeben werden. Das volle Anschlußstück hat infolgedessen eine seinem Siliciumg°halt ---iitsprechende größere Härte, so daß ein =Z achfliellen unter dem Druck von Kontaktdruckschrauben nicht mehr zu befürchten ist. Die Erhöhung des spezifischen Widerstandes des vollen Anschlußstückes gegenüber reinem Aluminium ist in ihrer Wirkung unerheblich, da der entstehende geringe Mehrbetrag an Wärme durch die verhältnismäßig große -Metallmasse der Anschlußklemme abgeführt wird und sich infolgedessen nicht schädlich auswirken kann.The invention overcomes this deficiency by the fact that during the melting together of the single core cable to a full connection piece substances are fed that form alloys with the aluminum that are harder than the aluminum of the conductors.
