such capacitors is very good depending on the frequency, the

The nature of this arrangement is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. In Fig. I a structure is shown, which is made according to the rule of the invention. The two bobbins b and c are attached to the lead-through conductor a, coaxially one above the other. The coaxial arrangement is a measure known per se in capacitor construction. Each of these two winding bodies has so-called soldered end faces, d.li. The opposite polarity assignments are brought out on the different front sides and short-circuited to one another by a metal layer, both also known 'measures. In the marked `` '', of the respective concentric end faces, for example d and e, one with the lead-through conductor a, namely e, and the other, d, with the housing f, are both concentrically connected. Correspondingly, the opposite end faces a and h are concentrically connected to the leadthrough conductor a and the housing f. The operation of this capacitor is as follows. The winding body c acts like a simple feed-through capacitor, ie the interference current flowing in the direction of the arrow on the feed-through conductor a is divided according to the ratio of the resistances at the point i and the greater part flows off via the winding c. The interference current still flowing through the lead-through conductor a is divided again at point l: and the greater part of it flows away through the winding body b. At the same time, the piece of leadthrough conductor a, which is present between points i and k, forms a choke, so that the whole structure is equivalent to a chain of sieves and is therefore also referred to as a choke capacitor.
However, it is not necessary to connect the bobbins b and c to the lead-through conductor a at different points. connect to. As FIG. 2 shows, the construction of the capacitor can also be carried out in other ways. The lead-through conductor m. Is through a tube 1 on which the two winding bodies b and c are applied coaxially. passed through. The concentric end faces d and e are concentrically connected to the pipe l or the housing f, as are the opposite end faces g and h. The lead-through conductor in is connected to the pipe I at a single point, namely at the point i. Although the derivation points for the two capacitances are now combined at the same point on the current-carrying line in , the length of the duct l between point i and point n acts almost to the same extent as a throttle as in the example in FIG.
i und k vergrößert.
One could initially be of the opinion that the capacitance b is connected to the current-carrying line via an inductive series resistor in such a way that the core resistance of this capacitor: in this case would not be improved, but rather worsened. This does not apply, however, since the coupling resistance of the duct L is negligibly small and inductive coupling between 1 and nz is therefore not possible because e # is a closed coaxial system. In Fig. I is still. to recognize the following. The bobbins b and c are not attached directly to the surface of the leadthrough conductor a, but are at a certain distance from it; which is denoted by o. This distance represents an air space around which the high-frequency currents flowed. must be and therefore the inductive effect of the conductor section between i and k is increased. This arrangement, which improves the intended effect, can be made even more favorable by filling this cavity with magnetic material p, as is only indicated in FIG is decreased.
