Electric machine with encapsulation of the collector or the slip rings
You have the experience with electrical machines with collectors or slip rings
made that the commutation properties and operating conditions are essential
get better when the air surrounding the collector or slip rings becomes one
has a certain moisture content. So it has been found that in the event
that the moisture content of the air in the engine room or the outside air is variable
is, the commutation properties are also subject to changes. According to the invention
such a degree of humidity is intended to be brought about in order to improve the commutation
will. One could think of adding the cooling air supplied to the machine
air conditioning, d. H. to artificially give it a suitable moisture content.
However, with regard to the windings and the metal parts, this would not be permissible,
as the humidity precipitating in the machine leads to breakdowns of the
Lead winding insulation and also corrosion on the
metallic
Parts of the machine. On the other hand, the fact that
the cooling air in the machine is warmed up and becomes drier before it is about
the collector or the slip rings, a hindrance to such a project
be.
According to the invention, these difficulties are avoided in that
the air in one only for the collector or% v. the slip rings determined by
the main housing of the: machine divided special housing with the help of
suitable means is air-conditioned. This ensures that in the housing of the
Maintain collector a favorable moisture content for commutation
can be without the collector or the slip rings under the action of the
the machine flushing through the dry cooling air flow.
Verbindung. In dem in Abb. i dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel geschieht dies in
In
Klimatisierungszellen erfolgen.Based on the in Figs. I to q. illustrated embodiments
the invention is explained in more detail. In Fig. I an electrical machine is shown,
whose cooling takes place in the known `` titmouse '' in a draft. With this arrangement occurs
the cooling air coming from an air cooler (not shown) into the main housing
i of the machine and flows through the
whole machine, then on the other side of the housing i through openings 2
to step outside. The collector 3 is arranged outside the housing i and
for itself with a special housing 4. surrounded, within which one for one
good commutation appropriate moisture content is artificially maintained.
This housing is not in contact with the dry cooling air flow of the machine
Link. In the embodiment shown in Fig. I, this is done in
simple way in that a water bath is arranged at the bottom of the Kollektorgehäuses.I
is; with the help of which by evaporation or evaporation of the water a certain
Moisture content in the housing d. is generated and sustained. The invention
is not limited to this means for air conditioning alone. In
In the same way, this can also be done by arranging soaked sponges or special ones
Air conditioning cells take place.
In Über- i einstimmung
Fig. 2 shows an electrical machine with known circuit cooling.
In this case, the cold air coming from the air cooler flows according to the arrows
through a hollow shaft into the main housing i of the machine, leaves this after
Rinsing the whole machine through an upper air vent, and from there again
to enter the machine in a circuit via the air cooler. In agreement
with Fig. i, the collector 3 is surrounded by a special housing .I, its included
Air is kliinatisiert by a water bath 5 located at its bottom.
Flüssigkeitsbad 5.In Fig. 3 a 'machine with slip rings is shown in which
similarly the slip rings 8 outside the main housing i in a special one
air-conditioned housing q. are arranged, which is not from the dry cooling air flow
the machine through; will flow. The air conditioning is done in the same way
as in Figs. i and 2 by a ring housing 4 arranged at the bottom of the slip ring
Liquid bath 5.
You can also use machines where the flow of cooling air is like
in = 11> b. i cools the machine in the draft and after success-; ter cooling to the outside
flows out, according to Fig.4 realize the inventive concept in that
one in the partition between the main housing i and the collector housing 4. open
Air conditioning cells 7 arranged through which the cooling air flushing through the machine
flows into the collector housing 4. from there to the side or downwards
appropriate openings to exit into the open air. This ensures that the dry
Cooling air when entering the collector housing 4. an appropriate moisture content
is granted. The latter arrangement is especially useful for machines with large currents
This is an advantage, as the collector is effectively cooled with simultaneous air conditioning
will. This arrangement according to Fig. Q. can be used in the same way with machines
Slip rings are used if they are cooled in a draft.
