Es besteht die Möglichkeit, zu diesem Zweck das Verdichtungsverhältnis der Brennkraftmaschine zu erhöhen, jedoch hat dies den Nachteil, daß das Triebwerk verstärkt werden muß und die Maschine einen härteren Gang erhält. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Verbrennungsvorgang dadurch in einen Bereich höherer Temperaturen verschoben, daß mittels einer besonderen Pumpe jeweils kurz vor dem Heizöl eine kleine Menge dünnflüssigen' und leicht zündenden Kraftstoffes einbespritzt wird. Die Temperaturerhöhung der vorverdichteten Verbrennungsluft wird hierbei durch die Verbrennung des voreingespritzten Kraftstoffes bewirkt.
