eine Drehzahlregelung an der Maschine i.i steuert.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to several exemplary embodiments. In Fig. I is the tachometer machine, which is designed as a self-excited DC rivet and which is driven by the machine 14 via the shaft 12. The terminal voltage of the tachometer machine acts via the lines 16 on a control device or a relay i8, which in turn controls a speed control on the machine ii. The tachometer machine has an excitation winding 2o which is connected to the terminals of the machine via resistors 24 and 26. While the resistance 2d. serves to set the operating range of the tachometer machine, the resistor 26 causes the lower part of the voltage characteristic of the machine to intersect with the voltage characteristic of the field winding. For this purpose, the resistance value of 26 rises as the temperature rises, which can be achieved in the simplest manner in that the resistor 26 is a metal filament lamp, in particular a tungsten lamp.
Widerstand 26 enthaltenden Erregerstromkreises auftretende Spannung in Abhängigkeit
linear an.
The mode of operation of this arrangement can be seen from AlAb.2. The curve 22 represents the terminal voltage of the tachometer machine in dependence on its excitation current. The curve 28 shows the voltage occurring at the outer terminals of the excitation circuit containing the resistor 26 as a function of the excitation current. As a result of the resistor 26, this voltage increases more than linearly. The curve 28 therefore intersects the rectilinear part of the curve 22 located below the knee. The point of intersection corresponds to your working point of the machine at a certain speed. If the speed of rotation of the Taehometer machine changes, then curve -22 changes either into curve 30 drawn in dashed lines or, when the speed drops, into curve 32. The point of intersection between curve 28 and one of the dashed curves increases or decreases accordingly. The tachometer machine then works with a considerably higher or lower voltage, which then also has an influence on the control process on the machine 1d. exercises. From the diagram rlcr Dep. 2 i it can be seen that even a small change in the speed of the tachometer machine is sufficient to bring about a relatively large change in its terminal voltage. For example, if the speed is changed by 301, the tachometer machine voltage can be changed by -40 /, so that a gain in the ratio i: 8 takes place. This gain can be increased by special means.

Fig. @ Shows these relationships in a diagram. The course 42 is again the voltage characteristic of the tachometer machine, which, however, no longer begins at the coordinate center, but begins at a point on the ordinate axis which is the amount k above the coordinate center. This amount h corresponds to the voltage which results from the constant excitation with the aid of the winding 38. : 46 is the voltage characteristic which is decisive for the self-excitation winding 20. This goes through the coordinate center point. Since curve q.2 does not begin in the coordinate center, but in point qd., It comes back to: a good point of intersection between straight line .I6 and the straight part of curve .I2. The defined curves 18 and 50 correspond to curves 30 and 32 in Fig. 2; they therefore apply to speeds of the tachometer machine that are above or below the speed corresponding to curve 42. With the arrangement of Fig. 4, an even greater amplification of the control effect of the tachometer machine can be achieved than with that of Fig. I. For example, if the speed of the tachometer machine changes by 3 ° jo, the terminal voltage of the machine can change by 30%, that is, a gain in the ratio io: i.
The tachometer machine is expedient with an amply large air gap
equipped or other arrangements are provided through which it is achieved
d: the dysteresis phenomena can be neglected. This achieves
that the saturation of the machine, which occurs in Fig. 2 at the knee of curve 22,
maintains its position regardless of whether the tension rises or falls. Here can
: this change in voltage is caused by a change in speed or also
have a different ballast resistance setting.
6o.Fig. 6 of the drawing shows an embodiment of the invention, which consists in a circuit for synchronizing a self-starting synchronous motor. The direct current generator io, which operates as a tachometer machine during the synchronization, is directly coupled to the synchronous motor 6o and, after being connected in parallel, supplies the excitation current to the excitation winding 64 of the synchronous motor. The temperature-dependent resistor 26 is switched on again in the excitation circuit of the DC riveting machine 1ö. During the start-up of the motor 6o, the stator winding of the motor is first connected to the alternating current source (not shown). In the vicinity of the synchronism, as a result of the resistor 26 in accordance with the relationships described in FIGS. The voltage of the machine io now feeds a relay 66 which, via an intermediate relay 68, connects the excitation winding 64 of the synchronous motor to .die DC machine, io by closing the contacts -7o. At a certain speed in synchronism or in the immediate vicinity of synchronism, this connection is carried out by the relay. The resistor 26 has the advantage that the speed at which the switchover takes place automatically can be maintained very precisely. When the contacts 70 are closed, the contacts 72 are also closed, which bridge the resistor 26 and thus switch it off from the excitation circuit. The DC machine io then works in the usual manner as an exciter machine for the synchronous motor 6o.
