Description

Nach- dem Trocknen und Mahlen werden diese Präparate oft in einer durch Wasser nicht oder nur schwer benetzbaren (hydrophoben) Form erhalten..Process for converting dioxodisiloxane into the hydrophilic state In the case of the action of water, for example on trichlorosilane or a lot of trichlorosilane Mixtures containing various chlorosilicon compounds are known to fall Products that consist primarily of dioxodisiloxane. After drying and These preparations are often ground in a water that is difficult or impossible to wet (hydrophobic) form.

E n s 1 i n , Chem. Fabrik 6, 147 [1933]) an jeweils o,15 g Mate- rial gemessen. It is now possible to obtain usable (hydrophilic) preparations from hydrophobic starting material by adding the dry and initially non-wettable dioxodisiloxane using a suitable, vigorous mixing method known per se, e.g. B. wet grinding, again brought into intensive contact with water, then dried again and ground to a powder. This process converts the material into the hydrophilic state. Example 50 g of non-wettable, dry, powdery dioxodisiloxane with 300 ccm Water pasted so that a mass of ointment-like consistency emerged. The class was on it in a with little light Porcelain balls studded porcelain balls mill for an hour, hot 5o to 6o im Air flow dried and the resulting, slightly caked chunks again -:grind. It became an extremely voluminous, dusty powder obtained, which when combined Meiibringen was slightly wetted with water. The water absorption capacity of the r «tes was determined by means of the Enslin: - given apparatus (0. E ns 1 in, Chem. Factory 6, 147 [1933]) on 0.15 g of material each rial measured. The following arise ig converted: Value:: ig unheditable ,: s Raw material took within 15 minutes o, ol); cc of water on; ig the same after wettable using the process described made material took within 3 minutes 8.2 cc of water. The water intake Accordingly, wealth is based on the 1 22faclic rose. While the amount of water at the unwettable material over the course of several ', which only appeared insignificantly, became at d "in hy, drophilic material the constant Weekly value already after about 10 minutes enough.
