Die Umkehrung findet dadurch statt, daß beim Zusammenstoßen der Werkstücksteile durch den Stromdurchgang ein einfaches Maximalrelais anspricht und die Umkehrung vorschaltet. Durch das Aufeinandertreffen der Werkstücksteile wird gleichzeitig die Schlittenbewegung gehemmt, und es findet ein Überdruck statt, der den Fühlkontakt p schließt und die Umkehrung vollzieht. Diese Umkehrung wird begrenzt durch -das Trennen der Werkstücke; indem Idas Maximalrelais durch den unterbrochenen Stromdurchgang abfällt und wieder auf Vorwärtsgang umschaltet. Bei vorliegender Erfindung findet das jeweilige Umsteuern im Gegensatz zu der elektrisch-mcehanisch bzw. elektrisch-hydraulisch betätigten Anordnung beim Hauptpatent rein mechanisch statt. An Stelle des Maximalrelais wird ein einfacher Kontakt n gesetzt, der geschlossen ist und die Schlittenbewegung auf Vorwärtsgang schaltet. Unter Zugrundelegung der im Hauptpatent dargestellten schematischen, hydraulischenArbeitsweise ersetzt dieser Kontakt n den Kontakt n und .gleichzeitig das Maximalrelais m. Durch die Schlittenbewegung findet beim Auftreffen der fest eingespannten Werkstücke ein Überdruck statt. Der Überdruck schließt den Fühlkontäkt p und öffnet gleichzeitig den Kontakt iz. Dadurch wird der Magnetschalter f ab- und der Magnetschalter q eingeschaltet urid die Schlittenbewegung umgekehrt. Durch die Umkehrung hört der Überdruck auf, der Kontakt 3z schließt und p öffnet wieder, und die Schlittenbewegung schaltet wieder vorwärts. Durch ein Drosselventil x läßt sich die Umkehrung entsprechend einstellen,. so daß eine Trennung der Werkstücke- absolut stattfindet. Dieser Vorwärmumsteuervoi-gang wiederholt sich nun so lange, bis die Werkstücksteile erhitzt sind und :das Abbrennen beginnt. Da. -beim Abbrennen ein Überdruck nicht stattfinden kann, erfolgt auch keine Umschaltung.
