Description
Beispiel 1 10 g Hessischgelb (Farbstofftabellen, Schultz, 7. Process for dyeing fibers made from natural or regenerated cellulose with egg dyes which contain at least one salicylic acid group. soak the fiber with the dye solution at ordinary temperature and: after drying, the dye thus obtainable is also treated with a solution of chromium: chloride at ordinary temperature. Furthermore, from the patent specification 422 466 a process for the production of real dyeings on the fiber is known, which consists in that certain substantive A, zo dyes, which contain a S.alicy1säuregruppe, cold dyed on cotton and then with solutions of, heavy metal, salts, such as copper sulfate, fluorochrome, bichromates or their mixtures, after-treated at elevated temperature. Finally, patent specification 433148 and its additives relates to a process for producing dyeings on cotton fibers, which consists in using chromium compounds of dyes with chromable groups or, instead of the chromium compounds specially produced, the non-chromium-containing dyes in the presence of water-soluble: chromium compounds used and, if one dyed lmlt, followed by an aftertreatment with lime water. The processes in which the formation of metal complexes: is carried out by post-treating the colored fibers with metal-releasing agents have the advantage of a wider range of possible applications with regard to the dyes in question; because the process in which the chromium compounds of dyes with chromable groups are used is naturally limited to dyes whose chromium compounds are water-soluble. The process in which the actual metal lacquer is only produced through an alkaline aftertreatment, however, has certain advantages. It has now been found that particularly valuable dyeings are obtained on fibers made from natural or regenerated Cell.ulose if the dyeings obtainable by the known processes from mordant dyes by post-treatment on the fibers with solutions of heavy metal salts are still cold with aqueous alkaline solutions Agents, in particular alkaline earth hydroxide solutions, aftertreated. In this way, colorations are obtained which are clearly superior to the colorations obtainable by the known processes without an alkaline aftertreatment in terms of the clarity of the color shades or the depth of color. Before the dyeings, as they are obtainable by the process of patent specification 433 148 and their additives, the dyeings obtained by the new process are generally distinguished by greater color strength and better fastness to boiling. What is essential, however, above all compared to your last-mentioned known method, is the simplification that is achieved by the present method, since in this case the tissue is only used once for a short period of time, e.g. B. 15 minutes, is placed in the dye solution, while in the process of patent specification 433148 and its additives, the material for a longer time, ie several hours, or with a shorter exposure time several times with intermediate drying in the dye solution must be inserted before the aftertreatment with. the colorations are finally fixed by the alkaline agents. Example 1 10 g of Hessian yellow (color tables, Schultz, 7th edition, No. 730) are dissolved in 1,000 cc of water. 20 g of cotton fabric, which is provided with a wax reserve, is treated in this solution for 15 to 20 minutes at normal temperature, allowed to air dry and then placed in a chromium chloride solution of 3 ° Be for about 15 minutes, whereupon the Let air dry. Then treat with a saturated calcium hydroxide solution for 10 to 15 minutes at normal temperature, rinse thoroughly and then remove the wax reserve by boiling with water.
You get a full yellow-brown that is upwardly clearer than through Treat with chromium chloride solution alone.
Used in place of chromium chloride nickel i chlori, d or cobalt chloride used, inan achieved by post-treatment with Caiciuni hydroxide rich orange tones, while without the alkaline aftertreatment, the colorations are much weaker. obtain will.
Example 2 Cotton fabric is padded with a solution of ro g des from the patent 468 Zoo, example i, known dye in the liter and leaves air dry. This is followed by 15 minutes with a chromium chloride solution of 3 ° Be treated for a long time at ordinary temperature; air dried and then put into a saturated calcium hydroxide solution inserted for 10 minutes. laughing the purging will Boiled with water for 15 minutes. A fuller, more reddish brown is obtained than without the alkaline post treatment and also an improvement in the fastness to perspiration.
Used instead of chromium chloride copper chloride, nickel chloride or If cobalt chloride is used, the result is rich brown tones that are considerably fuller and have a much better boil fastness than the corresponding ones, not alkaline aftertreated dyeings.
Example 3 12 g of the dye i aminino-4-oxalylaminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid are dissolved ---> Sal cylic acid, saponified ---> Resorcinol in 10000 g of water and treated in this solution 20 of a cotton fabric printed with a wax reserve for 10 to 20 minutes at ordinary temperature .. Then let it air dry and walk on it with the goods in a copper chloride or copper sulphate solution of 3 to q. ° Be, in which you leave the goods for about 15 minutes. After drying, in the open air will: Soaked in a saturated calcium hydroxide solution for about 15 minutes, rinsed and the wax is removed by boiling with water.
A deep Bordo red is obtained, which is fuller and a better one Fastness to boil than the dye that has not been post-treated with an alkali.
If instead of the copper salt a nickel salt, e.g. B. nickel chloride, If used, the alkaline aftertreatment gives a considerably fuller result Red-brown than without this post-treatment.
Beispiel q.Example q.
A much more vivid red is obtained than without the alkaline one Aftercare.
The same result is achieved if instead of calcium hydroxide B. arium hydroxide, strontium hydroxide, sodium aluminate, sodium or potassium carbonate, Sodium or potassium hydroxide, ammonia or organic bases, e.g. B. diethylamine, Trietlianol, amine, are used in such concentrations that their alkalinity corresponds approximately to that of a calcium hydroxide solution saturated at z5 ° C.
