Die Erfindung betrifft e'ne Anordnung zum Potentialausgleich, bestehend aus einer Potentialausgleichschiene mit Klemmvorrichtungen für die anzuschließenden Leitungen und einer dazugehörigen Abdeckhaube. Derartige Potentialausgleichschienen werden an einer zentralen Stelle eines Gebäudes, zumeist im Keller oder in der Nähe der elektrischen Hauseinführung, angebracht. An ihr werden sämtliche in Frage kommenden Erdungsleitungen angeschlossen. Nach erfolgtem Anschluß wird die Abdeckkappe angebracht, um die Potentialausgleichschiene gegen ein versehentliches Berühren zu sichern. Die bisher bekannten Potentialausgleichschienen sind mit Festklemmen versehen, die für verschiedene Anschlußquerschnitte eingerichtet sind.
