Plain It is known as a plain for lining casting molds
! to use a mixture of oil and soot. For example, with forms that
be filled with liquid cast iron, proceed so that with a mixture of
: Oil and carbon black smeared the lower part of the mold and the resulting gases
were lit. A heavily smoking flame then formed from which
a thick layer of tar and soot deposited on the relatively cold walls of the mold.
It has also been proposed for steel mills that the cyclic residues of the
Use hard coal distillation. To this also with increasing pouring, with the
it depends on good visibility, to be able to use it, you have it before painting

The pitches pretreated in this way were used as varnishes for cold molds and as paints for hot molds

in diesem Intervall liegenden
in Frage. The invention is based on the object of providing a size in particular

on the other hand, it must be done so quickly that the protective layer is removed when:
the casting is dry and firm. The selection must therefore be made with consideration
On the one hand, the boiling points of the hydrocarbons do not affect the mold temperature

it can be achieved that the size almost instantly after painting
