Description
Skirting board to accommodate copper heating pipes for use in modernizing old apartments. Other types of wood, plastic and ceramics are already on the market. But they have the following disadvantages. The strips made of solid wood burst during assembly, warp due to the effects of heat and do not provide any support for the quarter rod to be attached later because the lower support bar is missing. Furthermore, there are no mounting holes, but it must be drilled. How easily can the copper pipes then be damaged? You can also not pull up a carpet on the baseboard, because there is no upper limit by the cover strip. Plastic strips have the disadvantage that they cannot be painted, that they are too flexible and do not look like anything for living spaces. Ceramic strips are completely ruled out for living areas. The skirting board I developed doesn't have any of the disadvantages mentioned. It is 2.50 m long and is made of plywood and solid wood. The carpeting can be easily fastened underneath through the upper protruding cover strip.

The copper pipes are safely housed through the two support strips. Because the lower support strip is beveled inwards, it lies on the ground

guaranteed. The longitudinal connection is ensured by the fact that the cover strip and the two support strips protrude on the right outer edge. On the left side the aforementioned bars jump back. This created a toothing, thus a secure connection is guaranteed.
