Process for the heat treatment of austenitic materials in one
Tower furnace So far it has not been possible to carry out the heat treatment of austenitic materials,
in particular bright annealing, bright tempering and bright cooling, of strip and wire-shaped
Good to carry out in the ongoing manufacturing process in such a way that one is even somewhat
bare surface was obtained. Depending on the composition, the material '
brought to a temperature of tooo to r zoo ° C and then quenched in water or oil.
Small and thin-walled parts are also cooled using an air blower. at
However, this process covers the material if it is quenched with water or air
was, with a layer of scale, or it occurs when treated with oil on the
Soot deposition on the surface. One already has chromium-containing, corrosion-resistant ones
Iron alloys are treated with heat in a tower-like furnace, whereby
the surface of the property was intentionally altered: for this purpose it was based on
the material applied a hydrocarbon before the introduction of the
Good things in the treatment room. This measure is on the surface of the material
due to the effects of temperature on the hydrocarbon
Decomposition of this product a firmly adhering, more or less strongly colored
Layer generated. This colored layer must be placed in a special,
separated from the incandescent compartment cooling space of the furnace are eliminated again, namely
as is known, this is done with the help of additional grinding or pickling devices.
The good is only given through the intensive mechanical or chemical action
. Means the desired bare surface after the heat treatment.
Werk-
Stoffen und hat den Zweck, die Werkstücke so zu vergüten;
The invention relates to a method for the heat treatment of austenitic
Plant-
Substances and has the purpose of remunerating the workpieces in this way;
that - they without treatment with water, oil or air and without subsequent pickling
or grinding with bare surfaces.
ioo' C, rasch, z. B. innerhalb von 2 bis 3 Minuten, abgekühlt wird. The invention consists in a method for the heat treatment of austenitic
strip or wire-shaped materials, in particular for bright annealing, bright quenching and tempering
or bright cooling in a tower furnace, in which the material is in a conventional manner
Protective gas atmosphere is heated and cooled to temperatures of over 100 ° C,
the material by circulating protective gas up to about 18o ° C, expediently to about
ioo 'C, quickly, z. B. is cooled within 2 to 3 minutes.
etwa i oo° C gelang dabei in kürzester Zeit, z.
in Frage stellt. It has surprisingly been shown that according to the invention
the so-called tower furnaces with heat recovery and intensive protective gas circulation
Excellent for the heat treatment of austenitic material. It is
in these succeeded in the comparatively long and short time required for the treatment
to achieve the temperature reductions to be carried out. So could in a tower furnace
not only to produce a good austenitic structure, the temperature of the
Good things from io5o ° C to Soo ° C within 30 seconds and on to production
the bare surface to about i8o "C or below within 30 seconds,
expediently down to about i oo = 'C, but the whole process of the
Heating from room to glowing temperature and cooling down from this
about i oo ° C succeeded in a very short time, z. B. within 2 to 3 minutes.
As a result, the protective gas is only in contact with the annealing material in the tower furnace for a very short time.
The short contact time between the protective gas and the heating material protects the heating material
chemical surface reactions that inevitably occur with longer treatment times
will occur. Added to this is the fact that for the implementation of the new procedure
Suitable Turin oven construction, the treatment is carried out with very little protective gas
can be, because the exit and entry openings in the horizontal at the lower end
of the furnace. At the same time, this type of opening also increases the amount of protective gas
less contaminated, which is important for the process according to the invention,
since extremely small amounts of air, e.g. B. far below 1/10% oxygen,
The production of bright surfaces in the case of austenitic material is known in the protective gas
questions.
