schmelzenden Gemischanteiles betragenden Temperatur.
teigigen Zustand gebracht.
Process for the production of moldings from different materials
Melting point The invention provides a process for the preparation of
Moldings made from a mixture of at least two substances with different melting points,
wherein the mixture predominantly consists of at least one of the high-melting points
Metals consists of tungsten, molybdenum and tantalum, while the rest are lower melting

the melting point of the lowest melting point. Temperature

In this way one arrives at a sintered body, the shape of which is natural
depends on the mold and therefore may not have any profiles. It
is therefore necessary for profiling, for example to achieve
rod-shaped objects to subject these bodies to further treatment. this

These difficulties or disadvantages of the known methods are made in accordance with the invention

Homogeneity fully meet the requirements. In particular, for example
proceed as follows: At least one metal of the first, higher melting point
Group, for example tungsten, is crushed with at least one
Metal of the second, lower melting group, for example silver or copper,
mixed in the chosen ratio. For example, the silver content can be 4 to 611/0
or the copper content is 6 to 20%. The metal powders are intimately mixed,
for example in ball mills, for several hours. The mixture obtained is
pressed into a shape which is appropriate for subsequent further treatment
is, but does not represent the final form. After pressing or during the
Pressing heat is applied to such an extent that the mixture is compacted.
Here, the mixture can be pre-sintered by adding at least the lower melting point
Component is heated to near its melting point without even reaching it
will. This lower melting component is converted into a plastic or
brought doughy state. If the mixture treated in this way were allowed to cool,
so would a more or less loosely fritted or presintered one, in any case
porous body can be obtained.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, however, one leaves
the mixture treated in this way regularly does not first cool down, but uses it
heat expended on its compression in the subsequent treatment. This exists
according to the invention in that the presintered or loosely fritted mixture through
Nozzles, for example, presses into steel matrices, which the absorbed mixture
give the desired final shape. This extrusion takes place in any case with extraordinary
high pressure exerted on the red-hot body to such an extent that
the yield point (beginning of plasticity) at least one of those present lower
melting metals is achieved with certainty.
For example, if a mixture of tungsten and copper were chosen,
so it would be pretreated at about 8oo to goo ° C with the result that one

The temperature at which the pressing takes place, as mentioned earlier, must be below the melting point of the lower melting metal or metals, otherwise the mixture would have too little internal frictional resistance and would easily flow through the press nozzles, which would result in the desired exertion of extraordinary compression pressure would be made impossible in the nozzle. On the other hand, the temperature must not be too low, otherwise the pressures to be used for the practical implementation become uneconomical -v # @ to achieve the flow of the mixture, i.e. a lower melting metal in one. To bring a state of three-dimensional plasticity. In general, the temperature in the extruder is therefore kept at a level which is about 70 to 90 % of the temperature at which the lowest-melting metal present would melt on its own under otherwise identical conditions.
Particularly good results are achieved when the degree of deformation
between the
pre-sintered raw body (fritted metal mixture)
and the end body emerging from the nozzles approximately 10 to 2,000, advantageous
but is chosen much higher.
By having the yield point at least one present lower

other measures useful for this can of course also be used.
Platin, Zirkon, Titan, Vanadin können verwendet werdernThe body obtained can of course be subjected to a thermal and / or mechanical aftertreatment. A thermal aftertreatment can consist, for example, of annealing (soft annealing) at temperatures which correspond to about 50 to 60% of the melting temperature of the lowest melting metal present in the body. The thermal aftertreatment can, however, also have the purpose of hardening or some other structural change. The mechanical aftertreatment can consist of hammering, rolling, forging, upsetting, turning, drilling, whereby plates, sheets or other shaped pieces can be obtained. In addition, the body leaving the extruder need not be a solid body, but can also be a hollow body, such as a pipe. For this purpose, the material is pressed over a mandrel provided in the nozzle. The bodies to be produced according to the invention consist predominantly of one or more of the metals tungsten, molybdenum and tantalum. The rest is made up of at least one of the metals copper, silver, gold, aluminum, lead, tin, zinc, iron, cobalt, nickel and chromium. The metals platinum, zirconium, titanium and vanadium can also be used
