Grund für dieses bei Metall unibekannte Verhalten der Kugellager ist wahrscheinlich die dem Kunsthärz eigentumliche Eigenschaft, unter Te;mp,eraturä:nderun gen zu ermüden und dauernden Drücken gegenüber allmählich nachzugeben. Diese Ermüdungserscheinungen fallen fort, wenn auf dem äußeren Laufring des Kugellagers in an sich bekannter Weise :ein mit Kunstharz getränkter Gewebestreifen unter Druck und Hitze fest aufgeklebt ist, der mit der Seilrolle durch Kaltleim, beispielsweise durch Kau:ntleim, verbunden ist. Zui Herstellung derartiger Seilrollen sei noch bemerkt, daß mit Vorteil gleichzeitig ein ganzer Satz von Kugellagern mit eine@meinzigen kunstharzgetränkten Gewebestreifen von ausreichender Breite umwickelt und danach in .der üblichen Weise Druck und Wärme ausgesetzt wird.
