Description
Preßform für Cellulold, Kunsthorn u. dgl. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Preßforrn, in welcher plastische Massen, wie Celluloid, Kunsthorn u. dgl., durch einen eintretenden Druckstempel unter Druck und Hitze verarbeitet werden sollen. Bei den bisher üblichen Ausführungen besteht die Schwierigkeit, eine genügende Abdichtung zwischen dem Preßstempel und der Preßform herzustellen, welche ein Austreten des unter der Hitze erweichten Preßgutes verhindert. Es ist dieses besonders der Fall, wenn der durch den Preßstempel ausgeübte Druck auf das Preßgut sehr hoch ist. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß zwischen dem Preßstempel und dem Preßgut bzw. der das Preßgut tragenden Tragplatte eine in die Preßform eingepaßte Platte eingelegt ist, welche aus einem Werkstoff hergestellt ist, der einen größeren Ausdehnungskoeffizienten hat als der Werkstoff der Preßform. Wenn beispielsweise die Preßform aus Stahl hergestellt ist, kann die Zwischenplatte aus Messing, Aluminium, Kupfer oder einem anderen Werkstoff hergestellt sein, der einen größeren Ausdehnungskoeffizienten hat als Stahl.
