Description
B. zwischen ioo und i,lo°.Jacketed electric furnace In the known electric ovens In general, the heating sheath is attached to a protective jacket to protect them from direct contact. Because she takes a z. B. between 25o and 35o lying temperature, which substances, such as paper and the like, 'if they touch the heating sheath, can ignite. In contrast, the temperature is on the protective jacket only so high, there is no risk of fire, it is z. B. between ioo and i, lo °.
There are also already known such heating elements for railway heaters, where the sheet metal reinforcement of the flat radiator is angled on one side There is curved flat pieces, one of which is a leg to protect the radiator and the andeni serve to dissipate heat.
The invention relates to one of one or more heating sheaths existing jacketed electric furnace with ribbed corrugated sheeting cover plates, which, with their flattened wave troughs, are in direct contact with the heating element. By the corrugated sheeting cover plates with the pressed-in narrow, but large fins will be the temperature of the heated sheath compared to a heated sheath significantly reduced with smooth cover plates. So it succeeds through the rib-shaped Design of the cover sheets that occur in a radiator with smooth sheets, surface temperature leading to inflammation due to the use of the ribbed Reduce cover sheets to harmless temperatures.
Die Abbildungen zeigen Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgedankens. The figures show embodiments of the inventive concept.
As can be seen in Fig. I, the previously smooth cover sheet is now at short intervals with narrow but large ribs a. provided that a Lined up U-profile is created. The cover plate provided with the ribs leaves through lateral retaining plates, d (Fig. 2), which hold the plate at e and f - (Fig.; and S) embrace, firmly press against the heating element when the sheet metal is punched out at the edge, in those places where the bent out Ribs are located, as shown schematically in Alb. ; is shown. The two legs of the U-profile can either be pressed very close to one another, depending on the heclarf, so that the rib makes a relatively thin, narrow strip like this is shown on the lower half of Fig.6, or the two legs "des U-profile can get a small distance from each other, so that the on the heating element passing air can also flow through within the ribs. The rib-shaped Execution of the cover plate results in a substantial reinforcement of the plate in the Transverse direction, as can be seen from Fig. 2, so that the cover sheet against changes in shape is protected. As a result, the sheet metal thickness can also be considerably reduced. So it is possible to measure the sheet metal thickness from i nrm, that of an 80 mm wide heating sheath is required in the case of a ribbed cover sheet for a heating certificate with a width from i 20 mm to a thickness of 0.24 mm, without thereby reducing the rigidity < the heating sheath is impaired. Due to the narrow ribs of the cover plate is the guarantee that the cover plate is almost everywhere very close to the heating element b is applied and as a result dissipates the heat from the heating element well.
The Fig..I to 6 show the union of two radiators according to Alb. i to a common radiator, if you can not for example by ironing want to stick together. Only the outer cover plates of the entire radiator are here designed rib-shaped. The inner rib bodies e, on the other hand, are arranged in a row made of U-shaped profiles, as shown individually in Fig. S.
The ovens produced in this way result in a substantial saving in weight compared to the well-known jacketed furnace. So, for example, has to Oven which previously weighed around 5 kg according to the new design, a weight of only result in around 2.3 kg. The new ovens have at least the same stability as the well-known jacketed fumes and a much lower surface temperature.
Instead of bending the two legs in a U-shape, they can also be SZ-shaped be bent so that the cover sheet completely covers the heating element, but still the rib forms a lift kajial.
