In
Transport clamp for gang saw blades To prevent damage to saw blades,
The saw blades in the. Sharpening room
der: Sawmills individually hung on special scaffolding so that the cutting edges
of teeth do not touch and dull each other :. If. it -self nm sawing different
Length, these will be kept separately without difficulty
can. Keeping the already sharpened and blunt leaves apart
but makes a little more trouble. -When transporting the blunt leaves into the
It is by no means a sharpening room and exchanging them for sharp blades
excluded that when taking over and transporting the freshly sharpened leaves
sensitive tooth tips are rejected. It has now been proposed for
each saw set to set up its own transport box, with the associated sheets
collected at the gate and brought into the sharpening room in the transport box. In
The sharpener has the freshly sharpened second and further transport boxes of the same type
To accommodate saws and these are then brought to the or dis-gate-
A _Damage: g; sawing is prevented by the special device in the transport box,
since in this each saw rests separated from the neighboring one by appropriately wide strips.
These transport boxes, which are usually set up for one set of gang saw blades each
have the major disadvantage that they take up a lot of space and that
they are too heavy. Two carriers are absolutely necessary for their transport.
There are also so-called ... spring clips made from one piece to hold one together
Package of razor blades became known.
If you wanted this device
to use saw blades for the transport of sets of gatters, aside from that
of the need to process expensive spring steel, a great increase in weight
arise that should just be avoided. The inlay would be with the long,
flexible saw blades are dangerous for both the operator and the teeth,
also time-consuming and a disproportionately large amount of space, as a rule
is not available, and without additional aids, such as side boards,
Wedge board and the like, not feasible. With an average weight one
A set of medium gang saw blades with hinges of more than 40 kg, it is also not possible to
so-called tool bags with individual inserts in a sufficiently large format for
to use the inclusion of saws, in which this inserts are held together by a spring
because the bag and inserts are made of solid material with a corresponding weight
would have to.
The invention now remedies these disadvantages. It concerns a transport clamp
for gang saw blades and consists in that the saw blades of a set through
a screw clamp with spacer boards, which can be attached to the back of the clamp yoke. B.
are guided or held by slitting, so that the separated by intermediate layers
Saw blades through pressure plates attached to this screw spindle and to the bracket crosspiece
be compressed into a package.
