3, i;-:@ndrostendiolen, welches darin besteht, daß man Androstenol-3-one-17, deren
stattfindet.Process for the preparation of derivatives of androstenediols subject
The present invention is a rapid method of preparing 3-derivatives of
3, i; -: @ ndrostendiolen, which consists in the fact that one androstenol-3-one-17, whose
Hydroxyl group on the l, '- OhleristOffatOm 3 by esterification, etherification or the like in
a group is modified, which is converted back into the hydroxyl group by hydrolysis
can be converted back, subject to the action of reducing agents, whereby
essentially only the keto group is reduced to the secondary alcohol group,
without any significant hydrogenation of the carbon-carbon double bond
takes place.
B. katalytisch
aktivierter Wasserstoff, finden 'vgl. hierzu z. B. H o u b e n - «' e y 1, Methoden
der organischen Chemie, z. Bd., 3. Aufl.
Those serving as starting materials for the present process

Verfahrens mögen die nachstehenden Beispiele dienen: Beispiel i Man löst 2- Dehydroandrosteronacetat
raschende bisexuelle Wirksamkeit zukommt.

The following examples may serve as a guide for the practical implementation of the process according to the invention: Example i 2-Dehydroandrosterone acetate is dissolved in 50 cc of ether, 5 g of freshly prepared aluminum amalgam are added and 5 cc of water is gradually added dropwise so that the ether simmer for some time is held. After the reaction has ended, the hydroxide sludge is suctioned off and washed with ether. The ether solution is concentrated until crystallization begins. The crystals can be completely purified by subsequent crystallization from methanol or hexane. 1.6 to 1.3 g of androstenediol are obtained 3-acetate from FP 1.14, your one over-
