in beiden Richtungen einzeln
Extendable conveyor belt 'With the patent 672 954 it was proposed and protected for the first time for extendable conveyor belts, especially for underground operation, with an S-shaped belt loop formed by additional bypass drums, to provide a fine adjustment for the additional movable bypass drum in addition to the coarse adjustment in order to extend the useful length of the belt which consists in the fact that the two ends of this drum can be adjusted individually and independently of one another in the belt direction; In this way a compensation for changes in length of the traction means acting on the drum as well as an in fl uence on the proper running of the belt is achieved. The present invention is based on this general inventive concept and aims at a substantial simplification in the structural design and an increase in operational safety. Accordingly, the main feature of the present invention is that the two ends of the displaceable bypass drum are connected to endless traction means, of which they can be adjusted individually and independently of one another in their longitudinal direction. This general rule can be implemented in different ways, for example by the fact that the ends of the bypass drum are mounted individually and independently of one another longitudinally displaceably in frames inserted into the pulling means, or in the form that adjusting devices between the pulling means and the frame receiving the two ends of the bypass drum , such as adjusting screws o. The like. Are connected, which allow the two frames to be moved in both directions individually and independently of one another. Of course, a combination of these two ways is also possible.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. I shows schematically the end of an extendable conveyor belt
with the belt loop and the adjustment mechanism for the movable bypass drum.
Figures 2 and 3 show details on a larger scale.
i i einerseits an den Zugmitteln 5, andererseits an den Rahmen 8 angreifen.
Zugmittel s.The conveyor belt is denoted by i, its drive (not shown)
think on the left, while the reverse on the right is formed by the drums.
As the figure shows, the conveyor belt is around additional drums 3 and
, 4 passed, so that there is an S-shaped loop that serves the purpose of usable
Change in length of the band. For this purpose the drum is .l in the longitudinal direction
of the conveyor belt can be displaced, while the drum 13 is displaced in a stationary manner. the
Longitudinal displacement of the drum .4 is achieved by dividing it into two endless chains,
Ropes or other traction means 5 is switched on, which around the wheels, drums o.
Like. 6 and 7 are performed; the drive of these traction means 5 can be done by hand via a
Crank or by machine. The insertion of the drum 4. into this endless one
Traction means is made in such a way that the ends of the drum 4 in frame 8
are relocated, on which the traction means 5 attack at 9 and i o. To now except the
uniform longitudinal displacement of the drum: l a fine adjustment, the particular
to be used to regulate the tape run, are in the embodiment
between the traction means (chains or the like) 5 and the frame 8 adjusting devices
arranged, the individual displacement of each frame 8 in one of the two
Allow directions. This thought is carried out in such a way that adjusting screws
i i attack on the one hand on the traction means 5, on the other hand on the frame 8. By
Loosening or tightening the nuts 1 2 can now make the desired adjustment each
Frame 8 can be achieved in the intended direction and to any desired extent.
The angles. 13 (Fig. 3) serve to guide the frame 8 or as a support for the
Traction mechanism s.
